It is very good, I am not getting that much of output from mobiles, maybe when I change the music system it will be fine but its good with basic music player. Bass and clarity is very good.

This following review is of sony XS-FB693E 3 WAY speakers attached to a 4 channel amp with RMS rating of 80 watts per channel and after the burn-in period of the said speakers Pros- The speakers are good, have enough loudness, good built quality,fit and finish. The sound quality and clarity are also good for the given price point Mid frequency and high frequency sounds are good Best in conditions where you have an under rated amp or make use of headunit itself to use these speakers. Cons- The RMS is 60 watts so it requires a amp to get it's cone fully working to its potential. Low frequency or the Bass is not at all heavy and strong as I have previously used jbl and infinity which provide strong and punchy bass and these sony speakers are more like loudspeakers which are good on mid and high frequency but lack the bass. The bass provided by these speakers is more of a upper bass which can be heard and not felt so you don't feel the punch. Sony speakers focuses on quantity and not quality sound.The speakers are loud enough but miss out on the voice or vocal clarity which the brands like jbl, infinity provide and then there is the price gap which makes these sony speakers more pocket friendly. The speakers produce distortion or noice if you play bass boosted songs via the amp as these speakers are not designed to handle that extra bass.

After use of two months both tweeters not working

I own lot of speakers and audiophile speakers , so I decided to build one of these at india , I had BPL bookshelf 6.5 boxes so it was a test which I thought would be good for the speakers , I cleaned the boxes and fitted them and hooked these to amp powerful enough to fire them up. No magic , no sound separation sounded like a hifi car speaker or a boombox of 90's . Bass was lacking a lot. That's the best so I tried doing crossovers with tweeters , at one point I Was happy with what it sounded. Nothing special but it is a car speaker and would do best with sony car amp. The speaker is not heavy compared to other speakers which weigh a ton. So u can add a subwoofer to fill lower notes below. The sound is clear but I am used to submerse in music which it could not do. Overall good value for money. Maybe I am spoilt .. it is good speaker I thought it will create magic but could not do it. Maybe after sometime it will break-in more and bass will appear and will go more smooth. I am used to instrument soundstage and listen to singer in front of me , this was like mixed all in one place sound.

Very good product in this price, more than six months have passed since installed, sound output is good.
