Tumi Luggage Snap Case for New I-Pad, French Blue, One Size

Tumi makes wonderful products. They fit, they last, and they always hold up under the abuse given. However, I have been profoundly disappointed with the colors of this particular iPad case. I have ordered three, returned one, and would really like to return a second, but can't bring myself to do it. The pictures do not accurately represent the colors of the iPad cases. The yellow looks like something that would be excreted from a baby; the orange is the strangest shade of orange I've ever seen. The only accurate color is one without color - the steel grey Tumi Tech case. If you are buying these to get vibrant colors, don't waste your money. If you want something with very dull colors, then you might be OK. But what you need to realize is that the colors on Amazon.com and also on the Tumi website do not represent how dull the colors really are. Perhaps it is the material; perhaps the lighting. But whatever it is, be prepared to be surprised. The cases have a great fit, but they aren't what they appear to be.

I really liked the item and colar when I received it. This is my second IPAD, and I planned to use this to run my home electronics. However, this case was too large for the IPAD. My old IPAD also has a Tumi cover, so I did not expect to have a problem. However, the new IPAD is smaller, so the case did not fit. Apparently the IPAD air is smaller than a three-year old IPAD model. For someone that does not follow technology that much, I was surprised and inconvenienced. It is always annoying when you have to deal wiht a return and go to UPS and yada yada yada. I wish the advertisement for the Tumi case made it clear that the new IPAD air is smaller. I guess! Now what do I do?

In general I am happy with this product. It is stylish and seems to be of good quality. My only complaint is that it does not stand solidly when folded to the open position - it sort of rocks, because the base does not sit flat on the desk or surface. Not sure if this only apples to the one I have or if all are the same. Too bad because it is expensive.

It says 100% leather, but it is not leather. I am not saying this is not a good product, all I am saying that I expected leather but got some material that feels more like plastic, and I am not talking about the case I am referring to the cover.

Tumi products seem to always be on the pricey side, but their quality is second to none. The fit and finish on this Tegra 2 iPad case are excellent. The iPad fits appropriately without any strange warpage or fit issues on my previous Apple product. Your iPad can't look smarter in meetings than in this case.

Great looking case and great quality. Only gripe is that it adds a lot of mass to the iPad. Nearly doubles the bulk of the iPad 2

I have purchased many iPad cases in the past and all have either been too bulky or not help up to the daily wear and tear. After I received this Tumi iPad case I was in love. Tumi is know for their great quality luggage and their tech accessories were up to the standards. I am pleased with my purchase and will purchase other Tumi products.

Maybe the slickest iPad case around. Bit pricey but, its Tumi. Leather is beautiful and the entire case add VERY little to the overall size of the iPAD... I did think I was buying an iPad mini case but, when it arrived and was so nice, I kept it for my iPad-3 and tossed my targus case.
