No. The rings seal between the spout and the main part of the tap.

Q: Tap is leaking at spout. What is solution?

Our Franke Eiger tap was leaking at the base where the tap head fits into it. Using the ‘Franke Eiger Tap spout O’ Ring Kit’ solved this problem. However, later on when the same tap stared dripping from the spout it was necessary to replace the ceramic cartridge within the tap handle. We had this part done by a plumber.
