Certainty Herbicide for Turf and Lawns 1.25 oz

It took persistence and a few applications, but I have irradiated quack grass from my lawn without harming good turf! Worth the price!!

I wish they would sell a portion about 1/5 of this bottle at 1/5 the price. There's no way I can use all of this stuff, but it's worth it. completely got rid of all the nutsedge over the summer. Those weeds use to bother me to insanity but no longer!

I bought this because I have two garden beds infested with quackgrass and bindweed. This works like most herbicides--just dilute in a sprayer and spray away. I drenched both beds fairly aggressively. It works ok on the bindweed and in some places it killed the quackgrass but not as consistently as I would hope. I have applied regularly every two weeks weather permitting and although it continues to seem to work, I haven't quite eliminated either quackgrass or bindweed yet.

Never been one to write reviews. However, I received a potentially used/returned product?? The box is damaged, crinkled/taped together. I opened the box to find there was NO LID on the bottle of herbicide, just poorly taped over the opening with residue everywhere. I couldn’t handle it much but feels like half the product is missing. Very disappointed, I don’t think it’s even worth returning.

Bought and used with Celcius for Bermuda - it works!! 2 applications and the weeds are gone. Give it 10-14 days before you start to see results.

This "Certainty" was recomended to me by a close friend. I purchsed a box for close to a hundred dollars.Does it Work on "NUT GRASS"? Yes it Tagets "Nut Grass" or "NUTSEDGE" and follows the root killing all the weeds on that root chain or string. However I notice new nut grass poping up where I sprayed previously, which I believe may have been previous seeds germinating, I respray the area to be sure. Certainty is safe when accidentaly spraying other plants or weeds, it just seems to target NUT GRASS and most importantly the poison follows the root chain. Good Luck

This stuff is amazing, a little pricy but worth it. We have paid for professional lawn service and they could never get rid of the crab grass. We were told about this and tried it and it worked amazing product.

I had high hopes for Certainty Herbicide after hearing it was one of the few products that could handle Poa Annua in Bermuda grass. I used about half the bottle in 40 gallons of water to treat my half-acre front yard, followed the label closely, and added a surfactant to help with adhesion.The results were mixed. Some Poa Annua patches yellowed and died off after a couple weeks, but others barely reacted. For the amount of product I used and the price, I was hoping for more consistent control across the yard.To be honest, I had better results last year using Negate herbicide on the same lawn. It took longer to show results, but it was more thorough and seemed to prevent regrowth better into the spring.Might give it one more shot with a slightly stronger mix, but right now it’s more of a “maybe” than a must-have in my weed control lineup.
