I am extremely pleased with my futon. After reading all reviews, I can confirm, I received exactly what described, no strange smell or anything else. Wrapped in plastic bag (to keep it dry) and two cardboard boxes (bonus! as I am moving soon and need boxes:) I needed something to sleep on every day, I find it hard to have a good night sleep on regular mattress. This futon is brilliant, it is reasonable light to move it around. I love that I can refresh it by taking it out to the garden and let the sun kill the bacteria. It is not possible with regular heavy mattresses, even single size, not mention king size 160cm we have... I sleep on my back, like firm surfaces so I find it great. My husband is a side sleeper and prefers softer mattresses, but he tried my futon for a week, he slept not even 6h and was waking up full of energy. Then he returned to sleeping on his old soft mattress.... and he said he woke up and everything hurt him! Now I need to order another one as we are fighting for it:) When I order a second one, we are getting rid of our regular bed and never going back! I also need to get tatami mats, so my shikibuton has a proper layer underneath, not just carpet. I am surprised I was able to get such a good product reasonably cheap, and I can't recommend it enough. It make take a while for some people to get used to, but I am sure it is worth it. First humans were not created with soft mattresses included, we were created perfect with no need for artificial foam support on sleeping surfaces or foamy shoes...

Really like sleeping on this futon, I use this to sleep every night and doesn't take long to get to sleep. I used to have a sore back in the mornings but now with sleeping on the floor with the futon I don't get much, if any pain now.Overall cheaper than a conventional bed while sacrificing little to no comfort, saves space and healthy, brilliant

I recently started sleeping on the floor due to back pain caused by soft beds. This futon is an amazing product. It's firm and durable. It still had some weight which does indicate that the material inside is what it says (but I haven't checked this myself).Would've given this 5 stars but the product photos need to be updated. I was quite disappointed when I first unboxed the package but ultimately still happy with my purchase

I use this as my main mattress as I have back problems yes its very hard but its great on top of a tatami mat on the floor and for me extremely comfy and i sleep well . it can be rolled up out the way to give you more space in your room when not in use

Bought it a few months and very happy with the mattress. good quality and comfortable. But it is not very small for storage. Good that I don't need to store it but just keep it in my second bedroom. I also use it as yoga mat.
