Great quality item! Easy to work with. The directions are pretty decent. Make sure you put the black ring on the boot before you put the boot on the cord. The black ring doesn't go over the back of the boot (the cone end), it goes over the front (open) end. Just squeeze the boot opening a bit and it goes right on. I like the screw colors matching the wire colors. Good fit on my RV plug. I would but it again in a heart beat.

Just what I needed! One of the screws that hold the wire was VERY tight and almost striped it trying to get it to tighten but finally tightened. There was no wire strip length guide so I had to guess. The instructions were very vague and looked like it was copied on a bad printer and was very hard to read let alone understand! But it works good.

I was going to throw the old cord away before I heard about this replacement. Some of the negative reveiws had me concerned. I found the directions good and it was relatively easy job. As someone else mentioned make sure you put the black ring on from the front! I'm not sure that was clearly stated in the instructions

This female 30 amp connector looks sturdy and was straightforward to install. When I plugged a new Marinco cable into it, they did not engage when I gave them a twist. When I placed the connected ends on the floor, they immediately separated. This connector does not twist lock to the male plug, nor does it provide enough force to grip the male prongs. Electrically it seems to be working, but mechanically it does not inspire confidence. I am motivated to spend a little extra next time.

Reasonable price and relatively easy installation if one doesn’t forget to apply some soap as instructed
