High quality item - bought another!
This loupe is top quality. It is genuinely useful. Not only is the magnification good but the lens is clear and, unlike most cheaper models, a reasonable size. I bought another as soon as I received and tested the first.

Very good indeed
This is actually really good. I use it mainly to get a close look at my turntable stylus for cleaning and it does the business. Also good or getting in close to reading measurements when doing guitar setups and close up of jewellery for cleaning. Many more uses I’m sure especially as one gets on in years and the eyesight not as good as it once was!

Good all around magnifier
I’m an enthusiastic hobbyist that’s enjoying fixing and doing a lot of DiY around, ranging from fixing a CPU socket to wall painting.I got this for quick inspecting different parts of computer motherboards. Is sturdy, well maid and good quality with nice magnifying power.Recommend.

For budding back garden geologists
I use these with my 2 and 3 year old sons, we look at stones, leafs, flowers, bugs and bark etc. They can both use these themselves. I’ve looked through them and have no complaints. They have survived a few drops and being handled by toddlers so are sturdy enough. The frames are metal and the lens seems to be thick glass. In all I’m pleased with my purchase.

Its not 30x Magnification, more like x2
Its well built from metal and glass, as we would expect from a German product.Unfortunately its absolutely no use whatsoever. Place it on a newspaper and its magnification is about double. Oh! I must have it upside down, so turn it the other way up, and exactly the same magnification. There is no adjustment, theres a thumb wheel on it but all this does it remove that mart of the loupe, and two interior lenses fall out.Try holding it slightly above the item and the magnification increases slightly but you cant hold it still, and I am sure thats not the way it was designed to be used.So much for diamond appraisers using this. Honestly, the plastic magnifying glass you get in a Christmas cracker is about as much use as this thing.
