Duralex Ovenchef® Clear Ramekin, 4.63 oz / 3.375 inches / Set of 4

Tiramisu is tricky to make because it takes experience to know how long to dip the Savoirda ladyfingers into the espresso: not long enough and the Tiramisu is too dry; too long and it's mushy. So I resorted to these ramekins which are small enough that you have to press the ladyfingers into the base and you'll know by the pressing if you have too much or too little espresso in them. This approach serves only 4 people, so there are always leftover ingredients. One of these days I'll conqueur an 8x8 version of Tiramisu, but so far they've been flops.

I use these for “mise en place” when I need pre-measured ingredients for cooking, sauces and stir fry. They are durable and stand up to my stone counter tops. But they look good enough for sauces on the table.

absolutely shattered when it fell, not sure if real duralex. seems like a common issue on amazon lately. not sure if fake but sure seems like it to me.

These ramekins are pretty even when empty, and the 4-ounce size is just right for those of us who are trying to downsize our portions. The Duralex glass is also tough - I've already bounced one off a Corian countertop & it didn't break. The price was low enough that I ordered 2 sets. They are much nicer than my old white ramekins, which discolored from use.

The Duralex Ramekins are great since they do not contain lead . The Duralex Ramekins are half the price on the Duralex Website .I ordered the Duralex Ramekins from Amazon because of the Free Prime Shipping instead of from the Duralex company . The Ramekins are great. However I just noticed that the Ramekins can be ordered from Amazon through Chefs Choice at a lower price and even with paying shipping the Ramekins are $5+ per box less than ordering from Amazon with free shipping . Amazon Lower Your Price . Just not nice. I would have returned the box of Ramekins bought through Amazon , but I opened the packaging . I ordered 2 more boxes through Chefs Choice at $ 10+ less for the 2 boxes
