What size blowoff tube would work with this? My airlocks are getting overflowed into during fermentation.

How far up did you fill your jugs? Also, how much yeast did you add? I used the airlocks here.

The bungs wont stay in place. They keep popping back up during fermentation. Am I doung something wrong or are they too big?

You probably need to dry the stopper and the inside of the bung so there is good traction. This works for me.

why are these cheaper than just "water" gallon jugs??? Nothing looks different.

I can't answer as to the why? I have over 15 of them and constantly have all of them in use. They are a quality product, heavy duty and durable, for glass. I have not had one fail. I highly recommend North Mountain's products. 👍👍
