I love the sturdiness of these umbrellas. I bought two early Jan 2025. Unfortunately after a few months, one of them stopped working and I was unable to close the shaft (the other one is still in mint condition), so after reaching the Tumella team and providing evidence of the issue, they were happy to send me a free replacement. They were speedy in their reply and followed up all the way through until they knew I was happy with my replacement which I received within days. Overall I am a very happy customer and would definetely recommend buying!

The umbrella can be a little stiff to push back down after closing but overall its a good quality umbrella and the seller does everything they can to assist with a good experience.

The umbrella is very well constructed and it is easy to open and close by pushing a button. The material for the canopy is excellent quality. I chose the burgundy umbrella and I love the rich colour. I purchased this umbrella because my last umbrella was destroyed in the gusty winds recently. Amazing to say but it hasn’t rained nor has there been strong winds since I purchased my new umbrella so I haven’t been able to test it’s wind proof reputation!

Bought this as XMAS present and it went down well. Great vibrant colour (purple). Works well , even in the wind. Seems very strong , folds small as you would expect. A bit heavyer that what I would expect, but that is because of better build.

I bought this umbrella as the reviews were good. When the item arrived I opened and closed the umbrella and it worked as expected. I received the umbrella six weeks ago. now I am outside of the cover of a guarantee. The umbrella was only used a handful of times before it failed and one of the supporting metal spines broke from its hinge. The seller is helpful and responsive The seller sent a full refund. I am Happy with the outcome.

Love the automatic open AND CLOSE! The vent works great and enhances comfort, usefulness. The grey material used is just beautiful! I use my umbrella for sun and rain, and this color will be most versatile. Feels very sturdy in every way. Not the most compact umbrella you can find, but absolutely the most compact STURDY umbrella you will find. It does fit in my compact crossover bag, while hanging slightly out of the top (still a hands-free carry and it works for me). Gifted several this year for Christmas, including some of their scenic interior versions. Universally-appreciated by all! Kudos to this family for creating such a great product!! They are truly best of the best!

Not at all wind proof, the open & close mechanism is damaged within 2 months of light usage only.

This umbrella survived hurricane Melissa! I am so happy that we had bought this and happened to take it with us to the Bahamas in October. The resort had a standard big umbrella so when the storm started and it was raining hard, we each had our own umbrella to get to the restaurant to pick up take out so we could hunker down in our rooms. On the way back the winds had picked up and the standard umbrella that I was using turned inside out immediately and knocked me off the sidewalk and I got drenched as I was trying to get it back in place. My husband had the Tumella and the umbrella stayed strong and perfect! Luckily, since he was carrying all our food back to the room. Thank you Tumella!! It also opens so easily with the push of a button and is compact enough for travel. It is the ONLY umbrella we will buy in the future and will buy it for gifts!
