Grown up, class-act slippers
I just received my slippers, and here are my initial thoughts:After reading the reviews, I ordered a half-size larger than I would normally wear...and they fit perfectly in that regard. The heel cup is a bit large, but I understand this slipper is mass-produced and designed for the masses, not just me, and I have a narrow heel. That said, the slipper still stays in place and does not shift around. The toe box is indeed narrow, but as with all leather footwear, with time and wear it will mould to the shape of the wearer's foot. I will write a later update on fit.The quality is excellent. The leather is of good thickness and the construction is--so far an I can see--flawless. The finish of the leather is like a new set of military-issue combat boots. They could be shined to a high-gloss, smooth finish if the wearer so chose. I will be using the minimum amount of shoe polish as required to maintain the leather. The rubber soles are sturdy but flexible. These could easily be worn outside on a whim, however, I will be only wearing mine inside in the hopes of prolonged life for the slippers. Overall, these seem top-notch and classy.I will update my review after several months of wear.

Return of an all-time favorite
I was given a pair of the original Radio Tymes years ago after heart surgery. They quickly became a favorite place for my feet to hide out. The original Radio Tymes (still available) were for indoor use only (take that warning very seriously). After I wore them COMPLETELY out I tried many other kinds of slippers - always wishing I had purchased another pair of L.B. Evans instead. When I saw the Radio Tyme II's I jumped on them. They do run small, by about a full size so overestimate when ordering. These are however, almost as comfortable as the originals, they have a composite synthetic sole which allows one to venture outdoors for brief periods without damage, AND the uppers are satin-to-gloss black. You could wear these things out to dinner wearing a tux and no one would be the wiser. L.B. Evans has done it again. The classiest most comfortable slipper I have. If you has always dreamed of owning a pair of those gorgeous hand-made $400.00 English slippers, but realized how ridiculous an expenditure that would be, look no further. Perfect for yourself, and a gift that will have folks thinking of what good taste you have at least once a day.

Old fashioned classic for comfort at home.
These are narrow toe box by design. Most reviewers say to order a half size larger. I ordered my regular 10.5 and sure enough, it was too tight.I returned the 10.5 and got 11, they are still snug with socks, but good fit. You may even want a whole size more depending on your foot.Amazon return was painless and quick, so just order a couple of sizes and pick the one to keep. These are great slippers with suitable vinyl sole, not leather sole, so you can walk around outside a bit to get the paper etc..The leather is stiff when new, so you have to imagine these are built more like old fashioned shoes than modern, cheap slippers made of fleece and suede. These are leather lined too.

Not all sizes are smaller
I read the reviews and although I wear a triple E I ordered a pair of triple E's a size larger. Once they came the slippers were way to big. Don't know if the size on the wides are more accurate. So back they went and I re-ordered in my correct size. Once they get to me I will update this post. The slippers I did reveive were of the manufacture and quality I expected, but this rating reflects the quality not the utility.UPDATELove the replacement slippers. Once I got the sizing issues resolved the slippers are great. Just a firm enough sole and heel for comfortable wear. Some days they are on my feet all day long. Up and down stairs, across all types of flooring and they stay put. I have had these for a while now and am so happy with them that I have ordered a second pair. My rating goes up to five stars.

Narrow Fit and Hard Soles
The overall quality is very good and can be worn outside given the construction of the soles. However these same soles make considerable noise on hard wooden floors. The shoes are somewhat narrow at in the toe area. I wear a size 12 medium but I’m flat-footed. There is plenty of heal area for comfort but the toes are too tight for comfort.

Absolutely the best slipper I've ever owned.
This is my favorite men's slipper. I've been wearing only this brand and type for at least 20 years. They provide both good support and comfort and can be worn outside as well as indoors. I took the vendor's advice and bought a size that is 1/2 size larger than my usual shoe size. They were a bit tight right around the toes out of the box but every day I wore them they conformed more closely to the shape of my feet and after one week they now fit as though they were custom-made. I recommend this product highly and I'm sure I will continue to buy them as needed in the future.
