Dick and Jane Level 2 Readers - Set of 6 Children's Books - Ages 4-6

Good readers for children who can read the Level 1 books easily.

My wife and I grew up learning to read with Dick and Jane books. Our daughter homeschools our grandson and he loves to read the Dick and Jane books. It not only helps teach him read, but they also keep him interested with their stories. I will buy a new series each year with his birthdays.

We got these for our cousin's toddlers to start reading early.

When you have a first grader that cries and struggles with the hundreds of sight words they drop on these kids in school, you do something different. I bought the Dick & Jane books knowing that they taught me and my husband to read waaaaay back in the 40’s and 50’s. Within a day, she was in love with the books and driving us crazy wanting to read to us every minute. No more crying - she wants to read and learn the new words in every book. I’m SO glad I bought these and have to admit I’m curious why the libraries don’t carry them.

The flash cards I have were not working. My granddaughter can read the words in these books better than looking at just the word. She is actually reading and enjoying it. She feels like she is really, really smart. Thank you so much for these books. I grew up reading Dick and Jane and when the flash cards weren't working I got online and found them. Couldn't believe it! Have ordered additional Dick and Jane books. If you have a little one in kindergarten please order these books for them. They will love ❤️ you for it.
