I didn't know I needed a 2 foot long stone zebra.. I have to admit - I was sent this to review and it was my youngest son who was most keen on the idea. Had I seen it online I would not have thought to think to buy one but oddly had I seen it in the flesh in a shop I would have noticed it for sure. It is just so nicely made and anatomically pleasing. I think these are meant as garden ornaments but our is far too nice for that. We have him looking out into the street from the bay window. Every day I come home I see him looking out and it does make me smile! He lends so much character to the room. Very well made he is like one of those high quality farm animals that posh toy shops have but much bigger and more detailed with a lovely finish and texture he invites being touched.

I really dont enjoy writing bad reviews but this is the third time i have ordered this and received this item broken each time. The zebra itself is beautiful in the flesh but even with all the polystyrene around it, it does not withstand the delivery process. I am aware that, sometimes, parcels are being thrown around and can hardly blame Toscano for that but I'm not happy and I'd be livid if I was Toscano. Such a shame.

He is sooooo cute. Not life size. More the size of a cocker spaniel. The detailing is very high and he has a very gentle face. The resin makes him suitable for indoors and outdoor living. He may not be everybodies taste but I think he is very cute. Plus he is very tactile, you cannot help petting him. I like putting him in the garden with his little striped head poking out of the bushes. He is so sweet

I was a bit worried this was going to look a bit cheesy. The pictures don't really it justice. It's quite small, its head is just below my knee but it's really lifelike and beautiful. He looks great in my garden and I'm quite attached to him already. Relatively heavy but not so you can't move him around, need to pop him on a flat bit of garden to make him more stable.

Broken leg very disappointed

I ordered this as a bit of fun to amuse my nephews when visiting, thinking that I wouldn't really like it, but since we're out in the sticks with quite a big garden, I could position it where I wouldn't have to look at it. How wrong I was! Zora the Zebra is rather charming. Size aside, this is quite a remarkably lifelike-looking little zebra statue. So much so that my mini dachshund went absolutely beserk when she went outside and found a strange creature (roughly 3x her size) standing next to the pond. The resin with crushed stone formulation is quite lightweight, so I would have liked to see some fixings to help keep this stable. This comes packed in very crumbly polystyrene, so it's probably better not to unpack this outdoors, or by young children animals.

C'est un vrai plaisir pour les yeux. Ce zèbre a fier allure dans le jardin. Je le remmande.

It looks so cute in the yard. She is standing near Gerald the Giraffe and is smaller but sized appropriately.

The zebra itself is cute.....however, it's not worth what you paid for and should have been cheaper. I bought a similar sculpture of a dog at Family Dollar about 20-years ago that only cost $10.00. It's amazing how the prices in Design Toscano have gone-up in the past few years.....some things almost doubled in price. I have purchased several items from them....some good....some really bad.
