We ordered this chair to help our grandchild be more comfortable doing homework without the distractions found elsewhere (she's a kindergartener...)... the chair is adult size and extremely well made!... which is so awesome because it will be with her all the way through high school (assuming the chair can survive those teenager years😳)... and it is for a lefty (like her!!).Bottom line - SHE LOVES IT... it is comfortable and it is movable (even on a "time out" she'll be able to do homework!!!!We highly recommend this to any parent with children just are just starting the "school years" of their lives....

I bought this for my elderly mother in law so she could eat her meals more comfortably. The desk surface is very small but sturdy. I added a larger surface to it so she has more room for her plate and utensils.
