Grammar 1 Handbook: In Precursive Letters (British English edition)

This is a great teaching resource - it takes the headache out of lesson planning for teachers. Warning - this is the print version so if you have taught cursive, these worksheets are not for you. There is little in the way of reviews online for people who have used Jolly Grammar. We used Jolly Phonics with great success in an ESL Pre-School class and I will be trying Jolly Grammar next year. The book consists of 36 weeks of lessons, two lessons a week. One lesson is spelling/writing and reviews most of the digraphs (apart from long oo and short oo for some reason) and the other lesson introduces a point of grammar each week. Theoretically I think it will work very well. We will see once we teach it.

very useful spelling/grammar programme - like the active learning opps for this - so glad I finally have my own copy. I have a SEN class where 3 of the boys still struggle with initial sounds this will be so good for them.

This book has been so useful for quick lesson planning ideas. Very simply laid out with useful activity sheets. Excellent.

It could well have been used twice beforehand. Excellent quality. Everything is set out clearly and is very easy to follow.
