This product is very simple 2 wires attached to 2 pieces of metal however it does exactly what it should at a price that makes it a more valuable investment than me going out to get the wire and metal myselfIt it simply creating a closed circuit so if you need something like this for a on off switch it also works

I haven't used this yet because when I went to hook it up I noticed that the terminal ends were both smashed closed. I tried to open with a pick but they both broke doing so. I'd recommend finding one with a plug end and not separate wire ends. Time to find a new end.

Easy install, perfect for my 1000mmx1000mm X-carve

This works very well for what it is. I can't really justify giving it less than 5 stars since it did meet or exceed every spec listed. The only reason I don't like it is that due to the small z axis on my cnc, anything other than 1/4 inch stock is just too tall to use easily with this probe. I ended up using part of it to make my own out of flat stock.
