It is odd that the plug employed has the four divisions, just like the ones used with microphones. It is also odd that in the illustration, they show what appears to be a microphone, but it is the 'splitter', instead. Why would they use the more expensive plug if there is no microphone? Showing the 'splitter' and letting one believe it is a microphone is deceptive, IMHO.

Only items sent through the US Postal System can be sent to a PO Box. FedEx and UPS are not allowed to use them.

Q: Is this a slim jack? Do I have to remove phone case to use?

Unfortunately, it's not a "slim" jack. I had to remove my case to use the headphones. I ended up using a different case (Spigen) that didn't cover the area around the 3.5mm jack. I think the headphones look and sound great. However, the jack—which is larger than that on the default Apple buds—was the biggest complaint I had. That said, it may or may not be an issue for you, depending on the case you have.
