The best multipurpose steamer I have owned! Robust, easy to use and very effective. One slight drawback is that it only comes with 1 floor cloth, but that’s easily remedied by ordering additional cloths separately.

Recently purchased this on a used as new site . Was apprehensive at first but the steam mop arrived before time very well packaged and spotless . It was a very basic model of Vax steam mop bought to replace my old one ( which was a lot more expensive ) . I assembled it only to find there is no steam trigger on the handle . Strange i thought , how does it work . The answer is it just does automatically ! . The upshot is I'm pleasantly surprised , for the price it's a good little machine . Will it last time will tell ! Happy with my purchase .

I've been meaning to get one for a long time. This is a great steam mop. Light and easy to use, and leaves the floor and surfaces very clean. My only beef with it is that it only last 8 minutes on full steam.

This is defo the best steam mop! I had one a while back ( different brand) and really wasn't impressed so went back to the old mop & bucket routine. My mum bought herself the vax carpet cleaner & couldn't get on with it; she loves a gadget, she really does, but never has a scooby on how to operate them - bless her! So like so many gadgets before it found it's way to me. This was 3 years ago & my hubby has cleaned the carpets regularly since. It was only the last time that he mentioned that he might get the steam mop out to have a go at some upholstery. My ears pricked up, "steam mop? we haven't got one" yes we have he says it came with the vax your mum gave us, really? are you telling me we have had this in our shed for 3 YEARS?!! It works brilliantly, so brilliantly that a seed of guilt set in when I realised that my mum most likely didn't realise it came with the carpet cleaner either. It was no good, I had to tell her & give it back. So this is how I ended up buying a new one for my self. It's a total game-changer! I actually like cleaning my tired floors now. You are not supposed to add anything to the water but another reviewer shared that they put 1 or 2 drops of zoflora disinfectant (that's all you need) your whole house smells divine & the floors gleam- happy days! 😊

I have had 2 vax vacuums now and this steamer in under 3 years. I will NEVER buy that brand again. The steam cleaner arrived promptly and was set to use. So it was okay until I needed to refill water tank. The valve seal is hard to remove and ended up having to use a knife to prise it open due to the vacuum pressure. The actual cleaning aspect is less than adequate, it doesn’t really so much as pick up the residual dirt as dislodge it and I ended up having to go over it all anyway with another mop. The pads leave scum marks and with only one pad with the product after 2 fills on the tank and numerous hand rinses of the micro fibre pad the entire process defeats itself. The pressure level is …shall we say spitting.. barely adequate to actually clean. In fact would be more effective to have just gone over with a warm mop etc and the most irritating aspect… again less than a year down the line and the vax product is useless. It now heats with gargles and does t eject an ounce of steam or water. I have dismantled the product and I know the water ion my area is hard.. the instructions state do not use descaler and so I am trying to dislodge residual line scale and there seems to be none. Having gone through another 2 vax hoovers which similarly fainted at the opportunity to actually clean and resulted in creating MORE mess and passing out after less than a year… this product has followed suit and done exactly the same. The cleaner hasn’t even been used weekly because of the frustration at leaving more scum around than lifting. Even with the attachment and carpet cleaning the stain doesn’t feel like it permeates the carpet pile. Do yourself a favour and avoid these products.. yes the price seems affordable but it’s false economy.. if I had NOT spent out (and even the warranty’s are dodgy) I could have bought one top end product which would have lasted 20 years or so instead of 10 months. EACH. These products superficially attest to being up to the grade and standard of doing the job.. they simply are not .

Sadly, head of the steamer does not click in place and falls off by itself or by slightly pulling it which should not be the case when I move it on yhe floor. Did not get to use it yet. Ordered replacement and hope it is not a problem with all products just this one item.

This is a nifty little piece of equipment. I do love it and I am glad I go it. Product arrived on time and delivered into my flat for me by the helpful delivery man. This machine has good and bad points of which I have listed below: Pro's - Quick heat up - Cleans hard floors/lino etc quickly and efficiently. - Cloth is washable. - Can come apart to be used in the bathroom as a handheld steamer, I used it on the oven, sinks, tiles etc. - Comes with carpet glider, ideal for cleaning up spills when they happen. Con's - I don't feel like it does much in regards to carpets. My carpet in the living room is the only place I have tested it out on and it is a little old but didn't do anything for any dried marks. - Water reservoir is tiny!! My kitchen, bathroom and toilet are tiny but I had to fill it up 2/3 times for the floor. Also when using as a hand held for the tiles etc I needed to refill multiple times. Overall I would say it is a great little device. It's not too heavy although I imagine it could be for an elderly person or someone with physical difficulties. I would recommend this but would just say do not expect it to get out old stains on carpets or to work miracles with them either. I mainly brought it for the lino floors so for this it is perfect, and a great price too. I would also recommend you buy an extra pack of cloths.
