Electriduct 1/2" Hook Self Closing Sleeve Braid Wrap Around Sleeving Flame Retardant Flexible Mesh Cord Cover Cable Protector Wire Organizer - 10 Feet - Gray

I stumbled upon this after seeing that Cablemod sells nylon braided to cover your wires in your computer for $30. This is 10 feet, super cheap, and it self wraps so I figured what's the harm? The diameter of the the Kraken/Corsair sleeves are a little under .5 inches. Not a scientific measurement as I used a metal tape measure for the 1.5 inch circumference. The 1/2 inch leaves ample room and allows for much larger diameters as well. The extra overlap securely wrapping around it looks nice with extra white. I haven't tried cutting it yet with my cheap hot knife but based on other comments it shouldn't be an issue. I will secure it with white electrical tape. I will use the excess to cover other wires as well because 10 feet leaves lots of room to hide every wire. I'll put pictures up once the build is done but so far this is fantastic way to easily secure wires and change a color. The key to this vs other ones is it's "self securing" which is the same as the stupid cablemod package for 9x price per inch.No complains, it works and looks great.

Pros, resealable, looks good, holds well, strong, low snag factor, great once you get the cables in.Cons, getting the cables inIt takes some thumb strength to hold the sleeve open to get the cables inside, and it is kind of difficult.BUT! Once they are in they are secure, attractive and manageable.One of those things where the 'drawback' is worth the effort because the same strength that made the cables tough to get in holds them very securely.Overall I was very pleased.

Sleeve looks great, works great, cutting is a bit of a hassle, the ends begin to fray. Had to take a lighter to it "melt" the ends.One note, I bought this to make a black wire for a wavemaker in my aquarium not stand out so much. But it turns out that this thing will absorb water all the way through (even though only about 3 inches of it was submerged. Woke up one morning to about 2cups of water on my basement floor and thought it was because of rain (it rained the night before). But the "leaking" didn't stop for days until I started to look for another source and saw the sleeve with water dripping to the floor. Don't know about the science behind the material and it absorbing water even though 70% of the sleeve was hanging outside the tank. But took it off and no more water on my floor.Otherwise this works as it should and looks great.

I use these to hide bright colored speaker wiring on my boat T-top.They are easy to install and high quality.I bought some small zip ties the same color as the braided cable to secure the ends.

Used this to help hide the cables coming down the wall from my TV. Works well, but should be mat finish, not shiny. The whole point is to help hide the cables and these reflect light too well.

This stuff is great. Way cleaner and looks so much better than that standard split loom tubing. This is very thick too and seems that it will seriously protect wires more so than anything else I've used for automotive. This is a bit harder to fish the wire in if you are running 10+ feet of wire like I was but I guess they sell a tool to help with long runs. Other than that this is an awesome alternative to split loom tubing and that expandable mesh stuff that's a PITA to use. I would use this on all of my wire runs that may see lots of wear and tear. I used this on my truck for the off road lights mounted on my roof. Really cleans the look up and looks professional while protecting it.

I ordered a size too large, so had to send the 1" back for only the 1/2 inch. It expands and holds more than you think. The gray goes perfect along our gray baseboard. I wish it came with adhesive clips measured correctly with each size of sleeve though, that has been the most trouble for me. We are using it to hide cords along 2 walls on the floor by the baseboard, but I don't want it just laying there. Certain Command brand strips have an extra small hook on them which rips the braid of the sleeve

No the best but yeah it works just put ELECTRICAL TAPE at the ends.
