Sulfur Skin Cream (8 oz. 240 mL)

I have suffered from seborrheic dermatitis mixed with rosacea symptoms for my whole adulthood (30-years old now), with regular acne prior to that. There are very few products I can apply to my skin without upsetting it, especially moisturizer. My skin gets very tight and itchy and painful spots pop up around my laugh lines and mouth without some sort of treatment.Sulfur has always been my go-to treatment because other active ingredients like salicylic acid or benzyl peroxide are incredibly harsh for me and the irritation is counterproductive on my skin. I have long speculated that my skin suffers from either fungal or demodex-caused irritation, and that's why only sulfur gave me any results. I've tried all sorts of sulfur medications, even an RX when I was a teen. I use to mix a 10% sulfur ointment with some Cetaphil lotion to make a sulfur lotion as a home remedy. I tried Prosacea because I like that it's a gel, can be found in stores, and is sulfur-based.However, the Ovante Sulfur Skin Cream is unparalleled. I frankly I didn't think a product that actually worked for me existed. It is gentle and effective, so much so that I don't usually worry about my skin anymore, which is huge for me. I feel complete relief from the itching within a few minutes of applying it and my skin tone changes to a more natural calmer color. Redness and acne clear up really quickly. The neem oil must add some effectiveness in combination with the sulfur because there are no other sulfur products have brought me relief like this.Overall this product has really improved my life. In the past I always washed my face twice a day and made sure I never missed the bedtime routine, but now I confidently skip often and just make sure to wash once a day. I have to attribute that to this product healing my skin. Even when I have blemishes I know this medication is doing its job and don't worry about it.My daily routing is to wash with the most gentle cleanser possible, which in my experience is the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser. Then I use a cotton swab to scoop out some of the sulfur ointment which I then very gently apply to my whole face. I I do this just once a day, after I shower. For me it is very soothing and I usually don't do anything afterwards, except maybe a light sunscreen if it's sunny.

For several years I've battelled something similar to ringworm on my back, though it looks a little different and it happens bilaterally. I've used another sulfur cream before for years, which worked well but I would have to reapply it again once every 1 to 2 weeks depending on how hot and humid the weather was, and it also left a mess as little flakes from the cream would come off as it dried. This Sulfur Cream I've only used twice the first week I tried it, it worked so well I haven't had to reapply it again so far, and now it's been 6 weeks since the last time I've used it. It also leaves no mess either like the other cream I used. I also use Fungus Soap made by Braunfels Labs for Tinea funguses, various ringworm species.

Bought this and sulfur ointment, applied this cream for the firs week alone and dis not see any fast healing if any. The intching did stop a little. Up to this day i am still using it but i am using it with the sulfur ointment, apply the ointment an hour before a shower and this cream after and my skin has cleared up. Itching comes back when i stop using this cream. It does have an odor to it but its not that bad. I shower daily, skin cleared up after 4 weeks in.

It only arrived this afternoon and already has given me amazing relief. It has stopped the itching and the pain. I have no idea if this product will continue to reduce my suffering. Time will tell. I will back with a thorough review in a short time.

Purchased this as some other reviewers said it worked on their tinea pedis. It does work great. It does have the tea tree oil/earthy smell, but it is not over powering when put on the feet. The other oil in it gives it a slight greasy feeling so don't use too much elsewhere if you have oily skin. I have not had a reoccurance of tinea pedis since using it soe I will be keeping it on hand. Still need to try with bug bits, but so far, I'm fairly impressed.

I am sure it is great for some people but it was too strong for my skin. My skin swelled up and turned red and hurt for a few days after trying it.

This skin cream does wonders on fungal infections. I've struggled with a persistent fungus on both feet and got this one because my podiatrist recommended tea tree oil. This one has sulfur in addition to tea tree oil and doubles not only as an antifungal but also as a cream to moisten your feet. I've not used it as an antidote for jock rash, but I would be willing to bet it works for that too.
