A little inaccurate and a little too sensitive
The thermostat's thermometer is not perfectly accurate. I have a high-accuracy calibrated and certified room thermometer and it's always a degree or two off, but that's fine. I don't expect a wall thermostat to be perfectly accurate. However, the thing I find annoying is that even on the slow cycle/fan heater mode, it cycles far too often. It tries too hard to keep the temperature where it thinks it should be, which means that when the room temp gets close to the setting, it will pop on and off every 5 minutes to try to maintain it. It should probably have a bit more hysteresis to avoid rapid cycling. It's especially annoying if you are trying to sleep with it nearby. It necessitates having a loud white noise generator of some kind to mask the fan noise turning on and off. Also, it's a 2-wire system and it takes no batteries. It is compact and takes up roughly the same footprint as one of those $3 mechanical thermostats. It's basic functionality is extremely well done. I love these thermostats and they are light-years ahead of the cheap mechanical thermostats that my house had before. But they aren't perfect. A few small tweaks to their behavior and available settings and they pretty much could be.

Things are heating up!
I purchased this control to be used with Cadet wall heaters whose manual thermostats were a major pain and would not hold a consistent temperature. Except I am not an electrician. And there are currently two heaters rated for 1500w on one switch. And I'm lucky that it was only the new thermostat that fried, and not the whole house. Entirely a product of my ignorance, and nothing to do with the thermostat (which functioned beautifully for about a week before it died). You might think that a glowing recommendation would be inappropriate given my experience, but not so. The fact that it worked so well before it quit (again, due to MY ignorance) and didn't burn the house down is a remarkable safety endorsement! And for that reason alone, I would buy it again, but capable of the correct wattage. In fact, I need to go place an order...

Wide variance in temperatures
I bought 9 of these to replace the analog thermostats controlling the electric baseboards in a 50 year old 2nd mountain home we bought. I had an electrician install them. I used a “heat gun” (sorry, I don’t know the proper name but you aim it at a surface and it measures the temp with an infrared beam) to measure temperatures around each unit and noticed that two had variances much more than the others—5-10 degrees. I called manufacturer and they agreed to replace them as defective. I decided that as long as I knew there was a variance, I could live with it—versus the hassle of getting the electrician out and reinstalling old thermostats while I mailed in new ones. They all control the heat and have been working within expectation-adjusted parameters since then. At least I got to speak to a real person at the manufacturer’s number who was agreeable to fixing my problem as needed!

Works great in all 3 rooms I've installed
I had a great experience in one room - very refreshing looks compared to the old gold and woodgrain dial thermostat for the baseboard. I was hesitant to buy more after reading some other reviews, but I've now installed 2 more and they have performed flawlessly, maintaining temperatures through multiple winters in rooms that are at the ends of the house and not well supported by the central heat.

Know the temperature you are at to heat the room
Ww installed these in our cabin with electric baseboards and wall fans. They work great and now I know exactly what temperature they are set at. FYI You cannot combine a circuit that has a baseboard and a wall fan on the same thermostat. Our only regret was not getting some we could turn on remotely so it would be warm when we arrived.

Thermostat goes on and off every few seconds.
The thermostat is easy to install but it goes on and off every few seconds. It's trying to maintain the temperature by 0.000000001th of a degree, instead of allowing at least a degree or two drop, then turn back on. I bought a Honeywell Home RLV3120A1005 Digital Non-Programmable Thermostat and it has the same problem.

Great replacement for analog line voltage thermostats
I bought two of these to replace old analog thermostats on my boat's space heaters. They work great and cost a fraction of what the digital thermostats made by the manufacturer of the heaters cost.
