Excel Sanding Stick

Works as expected. Surprisingly well designed. An essential tool for any modeler. These are way better than sanding sticks or files for ultra fine detail work. If you rotate the sand-paper strip slightly each time it clogs, you can get an amazing amount of life out of it - especially if you use one of those big rubber eraser things (usually used for belt-sanders). The only issue is that figuring out which grit is which is very difficult - you have to use a color-coded key which can wear off after you use the strip for a little while. So if you're going to step through several grits, then get a couple of these sticks so you don't have to keep changing the grits on one single stick and then you're golden.

Need a simple tool to manage roughing your finished leather edges for gluing? This gets it done very nicely. I'd personally like to see a more robustly made tool, although this should last a good long time as long as I don't use it as a door stop!

I could not get what I wanted at my local hobby shop. So, I found this on Amazon.It is a good device for doing detail work on small items and for making oboe reeds.

Great for sanding small areas. I used it to sand off some rust off my car and it worked perfectly. The grit is just right, and the small sized allowed me to sand in a tight area that wouldn’t have been possible with just a sheet of sandpaper.

I use this to fit dove joint on guitars and also fret work I really like this tool

This came with no description or instructions. It may do the job fine but I don’t know how to move the sanding strip.

Works. But a bit expensive for what it is. Will not be buying again. Ever.

Super handy little sanding stick

One stick for 20 dollars when other people are selling kits with 4 for 40, don't buy this item.

This is nifty and very usefulHowever, you do have to read the info clearly as you only get 1 delivered but the picture shows 3Plus you have no choice of colour which is a shameThe other useful thing would be replacement sanding strips to use when this one is worn out
