Works on Task Force 5 Ton
I got a used Task Force 5 ton log splitter that needed a fluid change, per the instruction manual it requires the following type of hydraulic/transmission fluid type;Transmission:SHELL Tellus 22MOBIL DTE 11ARAL Vitam GF 22BP Energol HLP-HM 2These are all either discontinued or obsolete, and if found available, they are only feasible and cost effective for commercial or manufacturing operations.The MAG 1 AW32 10w, is the closest equivalent I could find to the aforementioned oils per all the data sheets I could find. The Task Force took about just over two quarts to fill the reservoir, and looks to be a very clean and consistent compared to the old fluid. It works well with the Task Force 5 Ton LS, and should be good for 5000 cycles or more. Enough to get us through the season. 5***** Stars!

Great for log splitter!
Needed it for my 34ton log splitter. Had trouble finding it in stock locally as the weather had turned cold and I guess everyone was needing it. Works great with no issues!

looks as promised but very slow shipping, very slow
product as advertised but the shipping was two weeks to receive and most of that was because it never got shipped for 8 days!!!!!

Just what I needed for my Built-Hard 6.5 ton log splitter from Amazon. It's odd how hard it is to find a gallon of hydraulic oil. Did a lot of researching, hunting and finally purchasing at a very reasonable price a gallon of Mag 1 at Amazon. It arrived next day. After its first use for a full afternoon of splitting oak and birch that wasn't really ready to be split, all things proved A-1. Highly recommend

This is quality hydraulic oil. Lowes has it for less than half the price though. Less than 13.00 a gallon.
