There are plenty of resources on the web to read about the benefits of Boron (Borax) . I was never skeptical about the importance of Boron in a daily diet. My wife takes a supplement for arthritis and one of the key ingredients is Boron. My left hand has a tinge of arthritis ( I am reminded every time I pick up my fiddle) and another "pill" on top of the regimen I already take was too much.I mix a teaspoon of Borax into a 1 liter bottle of good water and shake it up. The first few sips are the hardest (as it has a somewhat soapy taste) but once the bottle is 1/4 empty I add more water. One liter bottle lasts me for about 3 to 4 days and since I continue to dilute it down,I find myself finishing it off with ease.I waited for a few weeks to write a review as I do not believe in "miracle cures" or "overnight results". I must say that the results are definite and more timely than what I would have guessed. Within the first two weeks I noticed my index and bird finger on my left hand were not hurting whenever I picked up the fiddle. Also, an aching knee that has bothered me off and on for years has finally stopped. I know that drinking a boron mix may not be right for everyone. I find this much easier but if you are interested in boron for health reasons then find yourself a supplement pill or capsule and by all means, look up the benefits (especially for arthritis.)

I gave this product four stars because I use it for multiple reasons around the house and for health. So far laundry is good. I’ve made a spray bottle with a higher concentration mixed with water for stains, works pretty good most of the time. I do appreciate how healthy and safe I feel using this product. I use it in my garden for weed control and I do use it as a mineral supplement.

I use this product in combination with high quality Epson Salts and a couple of other things and I soak my feet.It's a healthy recipe and comforting.It's one of my guilty pleasures that I do for myself being a widow with 4 little kids and one of them blind.It's nice to sit down and relax with my feet bubbling away.

This is great for my arthritis. My arthritis in my hands is gone, got some in my knee now, so it doesn’t prevent it, just helps get rid of what is there. The formula is 1 teaspoon in a 1000ml to make a solution. Then you take 2 teaspoons of that solution in your bottle of water in the morning and at night time. It has no flavor when its that diluted. I also use it if I get a sore in my mouth by gargling the solution itself. And if I start to get a cold or the flu, I take a swig of that solution, swish it around my mouth to get rid of the germs in there. I haven’t been sick since I bought this. It also seems to be working on my leaky gut situation. Highly recommended!

This Borax is the mineral that is mined right out of the earth...Sodium Tetraborate consisting of 11% Boron, (not 11 milligrams of Boron).However, the company "Prescribed for Life" sells this as a refined Borax product that is USP grade. That means the tiny rocks and impurities have been removed to make a finer powder..For my use, I pack the powder into 00 clear caps, filling the caps to about 1/2 full. This adds up to about 20 to 30 mg. / per cap. The NIH states that 20 mg. per day of Boron is the upper level daily dose for adults. I have taken up to 30 mg. per day for 1 year at a time.
