A great beginners or makers photo booth for small items
A great affordable product with wonderful features. A great sturdy design, with only a few draw backs. Due to its small nature, it's only good for taking photos of smaller items like pens, jewelry, bottle stopper, etc. Not really durable for items like bowls and platters. Lights are affixed directly above items being pictured, so sometimes it is hard to find an angle where the lights don't appear in the product if it has a glossy polished surface. I love the switch on the 2' micro USB cord that comes with this, I bought a 6' USB extension that I keep with this kit so I can be a little more comfortable with where I am to take photos and not having to be within 2' of an outlet. Especially if they're floor mounted outlets, because then the cord isn't long enough to reach up onto a table. All in all, I like this product, and the price point really helps. Pro's: Affordable Compact Built in lights A black, a white, and 2 colored backgrounds for a customized photo Foam backgrounds that are easily cleaned and dusted Easy to unpack, set up, take down, and store Easily fits in the laptop compartment of my backpack Cons: Only take photos of small items Lights not diffused and the individual bulbs appear in glossy surfaces Micro USB cord only 2' long, limiting locations to work Backgrounds are yoga mat style foam and can be easily dented and damaged beyond repair Recommended accessories: 6' USB male to USB female extension cord Compact affordable tripod Cell phone charger with USB port All in all it is a great beginners booth or for makers that want to photograph their product like myself.

Fair Quality Lighted Photography Box
So, I needed a new venue to take pictures for the cards that I make and post on my website. When I was approached about trying out this product, I could not have been more delighted about the opportunity. Packaging: The packaging was simple enough, and easy to open. The product shipped within the requested dates and was not damaged in any way. I could see for potential damage, however, because it came in a soft-sided envelope instead of a box. Overview: This DIY LED Studio has provided dozens of new photo opportunities! Attached you’ll find pictures of the various backgrounds and how they can be implemented with different color schemes. There are four provided colors that enable backgrounds that fit all desired effects. The backgrounds are made of a soft, premium foam quality that will not damage the object you’re taking pictures of. It is also durable enough to resist wear and tear from general use. The lighting is of excellent quality, and lines the front and the back of the studio box, eliminating any issue you might come by with shadows. Even with the black background, the lighting maintains a pristine and crisp look. Set up: The set up was a little difficult getting the Velcro and the button-snaps lined up correctly. However, the different backgrounds fit easily within the photography studio. Disassembly was just as easy. The studio folds up in a nice 10x10 inch square and stores nicely. The backgrounds also fold up nicely inside of the disassembled photo studio. Precautions: There is not a dimmer switch for the light. Whatever object you are taking pictures of needs to be able to withstand and hold up under bright, florescent light fixtures. Not that the lighting would damage most things, but rather, you may have to cover the light fixtures with beige masking tape to get an off white or ambient light for your photo shoot. While no damage or harm would likely come to the product, the lights also get very warm during use, so avoid touching them while you are adjusting the photo studio or the object inside of it. The edges of the photo studio are sanded down and smooth, so you do not have to worry about cutting yourself or damaging anything. Recommendations: Keep the photo box up against something sturdy, and on a clean, flat surface. It is very light, so it needs to be reinforced by a sturdy backing and a solid surface to sit on. Use an extension chord for the light switch. The power chord is only about three feet, so if you aren’t right next to a power source, you will need to have an extension chord readily available. Pricing and Closing Thoughts: All in all, not a bad product—I would recommend it to friends who needed something of decent quality and for a good price. Given all that you get for the price, it’s worth it if you need something that is easy to travel with and user friendly.

Great little light box
Good light box for its price. I've just tested it using my phone camera, and the built in lights were adequately bright. It's great for me, as I don't get much natural light in my workspace. It's really quite small, so it's good for little products, and very portable. I'm a little unsure about how to place the colored backing so the corner seams doesn't show in the pictures. Other than that, I'm happy with the product!

I got what I paid for, but it's kinda useless to me
It's much smaller than I expected based on the main stock photo they used, BUT I know I should have read the description and size details. It's just not very practical for me. I don't like how flimsy it is and it "concaves" inward, even though they advertise that it's sturdy and doesn't do that. I will say that a lot of my issues with it may be my fault. It is very very affordable but it's not useful to someone who isn't a photography expert, because it requires a very powerful zoom lens to really serve its purpose with very small items. I literally will never use it.

Very small.
This is a small box and I cant take a picture without the light bar in the picture. No matter the angle.
