Thes patches are effective!
I was troubled with a tear in an expensive pair of athletic pants. I have tried other iron on patches before but they failed to stick effectively but since this is the simple solution I gave these a try. Applied per instructions to each side of the torn fabric and the hot iron melted in the patch . Each edge of the seems as secure to the initial torn fabric as one can expect. I did both sides and very happy with the patch. The final opinion will have to wait though until the pants have been machine washed a few times to see if any unrolling take pace. Meantime I am VERY happy with this product ease of use and quality of the patch on my garment.

They are perfect
I have had patch on my work pants for 5 uses and 5 washes. It is holding up just fine. I installed on the inside of my work pants and you can't tell its even there. Saved me the cost of buying new pants.

Effectively pieced together as new pockets (were significantly frayed) for my favorite work pants.
Easy adhesion....though I've yet to know how these do through washing, so jury is out on a final tally.Longevity update Oct 2024... the adhesion has given way on the edges but easy to sew down those edges. I would use for this purpose again

Did the trick
These iron on patches worked great for repairing holes in my jeans. They have held up throughout repeated washings. I extended the usefulness of several pairs of jeans, which all had tears above the knee area.

5 stars after 15 months of use.
I repaired the failing crotch seams on 3 pairs of pants. I wear these daily for work in restaurants.bThe patches have held up incredibly through lots of use and dozens of washes. I was concerned about using high heat on the iron with the synthetic fabric, and it did cause a very slight change in appearance. Didn't matter because the patched area was out of sight. I'm applying more of these patches today because the original seams are continuing to fail. I'm very pleased; I had tried several other ways to sew or patch without success.

The patches were good.
The patches attached when I iron them on. It's just that they're so thick. It seems like it should be for Jean material. Not for shirts.

Prevent nipple chaffing
Great and easy to use. My first time using iron on anything. My intent was to make the back of the broidered patch smooth for my young son and avoid wearing an additional undershirt/tank on hot day to protect him from chaffing. Since this is his uniform I want to make it as comfortable as possible putting on the patch. PRO TIP* be sure to cut the extra white fabric around the embroidery bc the black sticky side will on stick to that and "flop" and no necessarily stick to the fabric. This picture it was precut but I found that out the hard way after doing one but I have 7 shirts and I worked fine the rest of the shirts and went on flush to the fabric using iron NO STEAM function. Directions are on package and easy to understand. Haven't washed yet so if it doesn't hold up I'll update.

Jean Saviors.
I only actually finally started wearing jeans a few years ago, and it's been driving me nuts how the thighs wear-through while the whole rest of the pant is still perfectly fine. Well, no more; I've put these on as both repair and preventative and so far they've been excellent. They go on easy and stay securely (although I did put a few stitches in the corners just to be safe -- but I feel like that's overkill; the edges bond with the pant really nicely) and actually even make the pant feel nicer to wear as well as increasing their life expectancy tenfold or more. I've already ordered my second batch in light colors so I can do the rest of my trousers!
