Spare parts for iRobot Roomba 980 960 900 880 870 860 800 robotic vacuum cleaner (5pcs side brushes 5pcs screws 5pcs filters 2 set tangle free debris extractor)

We bought these thinking we'd save money. We were wrong. I know these arent original parts but I was hoping we'd be able to use them at least. Turns out we can't. I've taken side by side photos of original parts and these fake ones from Amazon. The brushes: the original brush (on the left) is curved, the fake brush is flat. The original brush lasts way longer than the fake brush. Crumbs and dirt particles are not being vacuumed with the fake brush because it gets deformed rather quickly. Filters: fake on the top and original on the bottom. The fake one has glue drops stuck between the sheets/ribs and there is a small plastic mesh on the back of it. The original doesn't have the mesh. The fake filter doesn't fit well into the slot on the vacuum, it doesn't click into place and the spacing between the sheets/ribs is inconsistent. We tried it anyway. The dust gets through the filter and goes into the motor and is blown out the back. The interior of the vacuum right above the filter was full of dust and I kept sneezing while it was vacuuming (I'm allergic to dust and mites) which never happens with the original. We tried the rollers as well, they are too hard and can damage the mechanism if something gets stuck. Overall the filter is the worst, I mean look at the photos for comparison. Also if you use all the fake parts the roomba doesn't vacuum as well as with the original. Stuff gets left behind and there's dust everywhere. Also the motor may choke so that's another expense to look forward to if you keep using these filters. This purchase has tought us to only use original parts. They may be a tad more expensive but are worth it.
