Mermaid Skin Gel UV 01 40 g

My daughter loves using this, it has encouraged her to use sunscreen regularly and gives her skin a lovely finish. No stinging eyes or nasty smells from this suncream! It sinks in well and feels great on the skin.

I absolutely love this sunscreen! Caused me no irritation, is not oily, has 0 white cast for my skin tone - although I suspect it may leave a slight cast on darker skin. It dries slightly shiny but I think most sunscreens leave this behind anyway, but it is very light weight and comfortable to wear. I personally like the shine it leaves as I like to have my skin looking dewy. The application is generally very smooth and has no scent to it. It feels fresh on the face which is what I like and contains no alcohol which makes it less irritating for sensitive or rosacea prone skin. I only wish it came in a bigger bottle - for the price it’s a little expensive but I expect that with many facial sunscreens especially as this is an export from Japan. I have tried a UK brand of facial sunscreen and it just doesn’t feel the same as this - so I will be repurchasing this alongside the other Japanese sunscreen I use. I definitely recommend giving this a try if it is within your budget range! Such a good sunscreen and I’d imagine it would be great to use as make up primer.

This is a great invisible gel sunscreen. Absorbs really well (feels like a hydrating gel). Not sticky and doesn’t make makeup gloopy or tacky. Has a very very slight tinge of white-cast but if you blend well it disappears quickly . It’s very lightweight and I don’t recall it having any scent which I love. Only downfall is I get through it quickly but overall it’s one of the best sunscreens I've used. Oh and it’s also PA++++ which is great for sun protection. Highly recommend it!

Overall: -The PA rating is fairly high. -It's gel form which is easy to apply in small amounts. -It doesn't leave any white cast. -There isn't really any scent or irritants. -It's suitable to wear underneath makeup. -The price is a little high for only 40g of product. -It doesn't protect against all forms of light. I've moved on from this sunscreen, but I really enjoyed using it when I did. I still keep it in my purse for emergency use because it works fairly well. I never got a tan on my face when I wore this, but admittedly my freckles would still darken because the sunscreen only protects against UV rays and not other forms of light like blue light from your computer/phone screen. I get lazer hair removal on my face (which you have to wear sunscreen for) and I noticed my freckles darkening even though I was using this sunscreen every day as instructed. Since I changed to a more expensive one that blocks blue light, I don't have this problem anymore despite continuing the treatment. So if you're trying to avoid sun exposure completely then this probably isn't for you. Otherwise, makeup applied really well underneath it, it didn't leave any white cast, you didn't have to use very much to cover your whole face, and it doesn't have any strong perfumes or alcohol in it. Unfortunately you do only get 40g, which I didn't realise was so small when I first ordered it. But I can't fault the quality of the product.

Best sunscreen I tried so far. Alcohol free, scentless, light-weight and moisturising, and easy to rub in. The only downside is that it's 40g rather than the usual 50g that many other Asian sunscreens come in!

Really nice sunscreen that was light and hydrating. Unfortunately it was just too greasy for me, but that could have been because of my skin type as I'm oily.

Pictured is the SPF applied without makeup. I adore this sunscreen! I’ve tried bondi sands, BOJ and SINIC and this is the one I always return to. It’s a lovely gel texture that’s subtly cooling on application. It sinks in fast, leaves no white cast and leaves a glowy but not oily finish. It has no noticeable scent. It’s great under makeup and I’ve never burnt whilst wearing it. Deffo better for normal/ dry skin I’m my opinion.

Nach meinem ersten Kauf war ich zunächst recht skeptisch. Ich habe sehr viel Gutes über diesen Sonnenschutz gehört, allerdings wusste ich nicht ob ich die echte Ware hier erhalte, weil die Verpackung komisch war und die Flasche leicht halb voll. Ich dachte mir auch, das ist in einer Woche fertig, aber es hat sich gezeigt, dass ich falsch lag. Dann entschied ich mich dazu es nochmal zu kaufen. Und beim zweiten Kauf war die Flasche voll und ist auch besser verpackt angekommen. Und ich muss sagen, dass ich die Creme nun zum dritten Mal und vermutlich weiterhin bestelle. Zum Sonnencreme: Meine Haut verträgt es sehr gut und ich habe ölige Haut, die mal Akne hatte. Sie fettet nicht und lässt sich gut verteilen, aber man muss aufpassen, dass man nicht zu viel aufträgt sonst wirkt man recht weiß und ich habe eine schon recht helle Haut. Auch Make up lässt sich darauf gut verteilen und hält auch den ganzen Tag ohne zu bröseln. Sie hält die Haut auch leicht glänzend und trocknet sie nicht aus. Was mir nur nicht gefällt ist, dass es um die Augen herum dann doch leicht brennt im Laufe des Tages. Auch wenn nicht so schlimm, trotzdem glaube ich, dass ich mir eine andere Creme kaufen sollte weil es scheinbar meine Augen reizt. Mein Fazit also: Ich werde das weiterhin bestellen, weil es für mich die "safe" SPF ist und tolle UVA/UVB Schutz bietet. Aber ich sehe mich noch um, weil ich gerne einen Sonnenschutz hätte, die wenigstens drei Monate hält. Also von mir aus eine Kaufempfehlung, auch wenn die Augen damit leicht gereizt sind.

Leggerissima, idratante, senza scia bianca, senza sensazione di unto, impercettibile sotto il trucco. L'ho applicata e riapplicata più volte durante il corso della giornata senza problemi, non c'è nessun effetto di "sfarinamento" se si applicano più strati a distanza di ore. È la prima volta che acquisto questa marca, ma la trovo molto simile alla famosissima UV AQUA di Bioré.
