Very nice look and feel to this tamper. Note that the lower edge of the tamper is chamfered (rounded a bit) and some in the coffee world feel that its better for that lower edge to be a crisp 90° angle so that coffee around the edges of the circular tamper plate is fully depressed in the portafilter basket. The idea is that this would minimize the chance of channeling around the edges. Maybe too fussy of a point, I grant you.Aesthetically and feel-wise, this tamper's very nice. Accidentally ordered a 58mm and needed a 51mm, so had to return it, but was impressed with the quality for the price-- and not just for the price, but overall.

The tamper I received has improved the quality of my shots but the finish quality is lacking. I don't expect obvious scratches in a new product but I suppose it's likely at the price point.As another review noted the way the edge is finished probably allows some grounds to migrate up the side of the basket. However I'm getting way less than I was with my previous tamper and so I'm happy.

Very well balanced and easy to use. Fits my basket perfectly. Good quality. Only issue was that the handle kept coming loose from the base so I added a bit of thread lock to the threads and no issues since.

This is a very nice tamper. It has a nice look and excellent weight and feel. I bought it to use with my new Lelit PL41TEM that has a 57mm portafilter and this tamper fits and works perfectly.

I’ve had this tamp for almost two years, it’s been nothing but perfect. Ergonomic, heavy weight, well made. Would recommend to anyone.

It is really good tamper.My boyfriend opened a coffee shop and he uses this for his coffee.It is very great.

Works perfectly with my Lelit “Anna” PL41TEM espresso machine.
