Works Great!
Editing two and a half years later just to say it still works great! First time ever doing something like this and it worked great. I did not remove the lcd/frame assembly as in some videos. I used: tons of patience; careful low-setting heat gun; dust/lint-free work space; anti-static mat and wristband; mudder 24 pc pry tool kit; lots of screen cleaning cloths and spray electronic cleaner + time and care to get up some adhesive that I accidentally smudged onto lcd face while prying screen off; magnifying glass, strong led lights, more lint-free cleaning cloths, and compressed air to find and remove every speck and smudge on lcd and glass. There is some slightly thicker foam tape that seals the inner perimeter and if you damage it, you need to find something very similar to replace. You can't just leave gaps or use the thin adhesive, or dust will eventually find its way in between your lcd and screen and mess up the touch function. I found some relatively thin black double sided tape at hardware store that was the right thickness to replace some bits of that foam that I had torn.I did use the heat gun and tweezers to fully remove all the thinner clear adhesive, then I used the super thin double sided tape made for screens that came with my pry tool kit to replace that outer perimeter of adhesive.I tested with ribbon connected and screen folded out, and it worked, but then on fully assembling it was not working. I had been super careful in getting the connections right, so I was so sure I must have damaged the ribbon in folding it together and shifting it around to center for assembly. I was ready to weep, but I opened up the back again, snapped open the ribbon connectors, pulled out each ribbon side and put them all back. Fixed it! Now working perfectly for weeks. No re-calibration needed, touch and view all perfect.

Touch not working after installation
Install was pretty easy, which is more of a function of the design of the tablet, but the screen was a direct fit. The fit is good.I bought this to replace a screen that cracked pretty badly as a result of being dropped. After installing, the touch does not work very well, it takes a really hard push on the screen to get anything to happen. I've been contemplating buying another to see if I just got a bad one, but I can't justify spending the money just to see if it works.

Good replacement, perfect fit. 5 stars. Slightly more friction than original
Bought this as a replacement for my cracked digitizer (luckily my lcd didn't crack). The product was securely packaged and had a protective film on front and back. They want you to plug it in and test it before you pull the film, but it would have been hard to do that with my 2-1 all taken apart. I risked it and everything worked great. I was able to leave the front film on until everything was completely back together.Pros: Cheap, responsive, Asus branding, protective filmCons: Surface has *slightly* more friction than the original (may be residue from the protective film), which you only really notice if you were to do a lot of dragging on the touch screen.Would definitely buy again.

Live and learn!
Unfortunately, this touch screen was the wrong size for my computer. Not the company's fault but I didn't discover it until I had had it for several weeks before attempting to make the screen repair. Guess I'm just stuck with it now that I've had the repair done professionally instead of doing it myself.

Disappointed - Need To Clean Oil Like Film From Digitizer Sold By "TheCoolCube"
This item sold by "TheCoolCube" had a oil like film on the inside of the digitizer when you removed the protective film. It should be clean free of dust, finger prints, etc., you should not have to clean the inside of the digitizer before you install it. I have installed a lot of screens and so I check, but for those that do not you would need to remove this part clean and replace. The problem with having to clean it is you get dust, lint and other debris in between the LCD and the digitizer. Canned air does not work well if you are trying to assemble 99% lint free as it stirs up dust. Microfiber cloths of a high quality level will fix this but it gets expensive. Who wants a flake of dust trapped in the screen.

I used a hair dryer which worked perfect. Gotta be careful with adhesive when removing old ...
The sceeen is 100% exactly the same as the OEM part...I watched 2 videos on youtube on how to remove the old digitizer. It can kinda be a pain in the butt, need a heat gun or hair dryer for sure. I used a hair dryer which worked perfect. Gotta be careful with adhesive when removing old screen because it is the only thing that attaches the digitzer to the frame. I have never replaced a screen before but i nailed it on te first try. Make sure the plugs that go into the board on seated properly because i failed to do it ans the touch screen didnt work. 5 stars....saved me a lot of money.

Works good. Install wasn't too bad
Works good. Install wasn't too bad. Doesn't seem to be built as nicely as the original but it certainly does the job.
