My grandson loves putting things together. Only gave it 2 stars because it is a challenge to put togather but that is what he wants.

My 8 year old says:"It goes so slow and and it turns too much I hate this."I say, "I enjoyed putting it together and he did the first day too. We only built one and I told him to build more before reviewing, but he couldn't wait to leave negative feedback."Overall, it was very challenging for him. He was frustrated many times. I suppose I should've researched more - I didn't realize there were difficulty levels outside of the age ranges. This is not a good starter kit.

My son loves to build and he had a blast putting this together.

Some metal pieces are poorly threaded or made with incomplete head slots.Assembly order could use improvement.Cramped and fidgety assembly in some areas that are not well illustrated. Needed hemostats to complete some steps. Especially true in some cases where the holes used are not visible on the drawing and work had to be disassembled then reassembled rolling back a few steps.Plastic pieces look specialized and not very versatile for other projects. Gears and shafts not well captured once assembled.My ancient Erector Set was a better general purpose building toy for inspiring creativity than this "updated" version.Grandson not impressed with the 61 step toy (car).

My grandson absolutely loves this and he is continually coming up with new configurations 👍🏼

Very good representation of the real vehicle. A few extra screws and small parts should have been included. The title, "25-in-1", is a bit misleading since it implies 25 vehicles could be built in this one set. Now, if you read the fine print in the instruction booklet in the box, there is a statement that the instructions for the other models are available online at www.meccano.com. The booklet itself only gives instructions to build three (3) models.

Construction requires more than two hands due to size parts. They’re small, but too small.
