Honey D Natural Dried Longan 100% fruit Meat 200 g (7.05oz)

I have never tried Longan fruit before, so I decided to give this a try. I think that most people will be looking at this product like me if they haven't ever tried it before. The fruit is very unique, it's not comparable as far as flavor to anything else I have ever tried, which I think in itself makes it worth trying, but it's very good. No, I wasn't blown away by the flavor or anything like that, I think the purpose of these products is to try something new and I think the goal of the product was met. Would I buy this again, probably not, and the only reason is because the package is only 200 grams and kinda expensive. I was just looking for something new to try and this is a very good product if that is what you are looking to do

I came across this via the review on Hot Thai Kitchen or Pailin's Kitchen on YouTube and my family was intrigued so we decided to try it out. It arrived in about a day or two and was pleasantly surprising. The dried longans can be used to make tea or snacked on straight up! After a few chews, the very familiar longan flavor if you've had it will start to fill your mouth. The sweetness of 'tea' made from this is rather subtle so in case that is something you are looking for with this, even using eight of them! May want to use it as Pailin suggested with some brewed tea as a sweetener of sorts then you can eat the longan after! When they rehydrate as well, they are much less orange and yellow!Highly recommended, please try it out if you love longan!

I fell in love with the Longan when a friend's mom gave them to me often years ago.she treated them like they were gold saying they cost as much for her.these don't taste as good, but you can't compared dried to "fresh".they have a unique flavor, the odd aftertaste is stronger in these than the fresh.I eat them right out of the container, so in tea I'm sure not noticeable.

These taste very clean and come in convenient packaging. However, the price is more than double most dried longan.

I’m picky. Got cheaper brand at local Chinese grocery but they tasted so bitter and full of sulfur dioxide. This one is great, sweet, flavorful and no preservative. Great to snack on, I can eat the whole jar all at once. It’s a little pricey. If it’s cheaper, I get a truckload. Great snack or tea. You can look up, Longan has many medicinal benefits. Love it, love it!!!!!

This strange tasting costly Longan has watery liquid honey added to it before drying. This is extremely sweet & DOES NOT TASTE LIKE LONGAN. Real fresh longan is never this sweet, even at its ripest.This was a gift for my best friend who is diabetic & soon could feel the added “honey substance.” It’s not pure honey. The color of this product is also that of honey, not longan.If one is looking for an overpriced sugary weird tasting fruit- this is it.This is probably why years later after requests, Seller still refuses to disclose the sugar info on the label.

Just gotta say! These were amazing! Had no idea what I was gonna get, but I was floored and am ordering another immediately!Not cheap but worth it! They are unusual looking too, a special treat! You won't be disappointed! Trying to figure a way to extend them by making a mix with maybe rice crisp cereal, slivered almonds, and maybe flavored chickpeas or dehydrated peas or wasabi edamame, all knds of creative options are in the horizon, then you can dig into the bowl looking to grab these little golden nuggets out of the bunch!

I have been adding dried longan on my cereal for more than 10 years, but have never bought this one until now because it costs almost twice as much as the others. But it worth the money. Before this, I never eat this stuff without cooking it first, but this one look so good I eat it as snack, it is packaged with lift-top aluminum foil to seal the freshness, and it shows on the taste.
