I bought this for my 2018 Samsung 4K Smart TV (UN50NU7100FXZA). It wasn't listed as a supported model, but I thought I'd try it anyway. I'm happy to report it works GREAT.The remote that came with my TV is terrible to use in the dark. It has way too many buttons, no backlight, small buttons, and it's pretty much impossible to use without light. THIS remote, on the other hand, is simple enough to easily use without looking. It's easy to feel the directional pad, and to find the home, back, power, and volume buttons by touch alone-- much more suited to Smart TV usage.Requires 2 AA batteries, not included, but other than that all I had to do was point it at my TV and it just works. No programming/pairing/anything like that required.

Perfect for Samsung 6300f smart tv. Doesn’t require “aiming”. Works well 20 feet away. Works quickly and silently (no click when button depressed).And this thing is CHEAP! A great bargain.

PROS:1. This remote works perfectly with a new Samsung TV UN50NU7100FXZA used exclusively for streaming.2. No setup or "learning", just pressed power and away it went.3. This remote handled all the basic navigation and volume control.4. Very inexpensive, vs $60+ for similar remote with voice and other shortcut buttons.CONS:1. Batteries would not make contact - solution, carefully stretch a spring for each battery to make contact.2. Batteries rattle - solution, wrap each batter about 3 times with duct tape for a better fit.

This is not an original Samsung remote but looks exactly like one. Works great right out of a box with my Samsung UN40NU7100 with not setup required. Only thing I've noticed is that the buttons are a bit louder then the original that I have in my family room for my Samsung 65 in UHD TV.I only got this remote because it didn't come with the one remote for the smaller Samsung TV's.

Our puppy chewed up our original Samsung tv remote. My husband wasn’t too happy so I had to find a replacement ASAP. I was a bit apprehensive about ordering this remote being that I wasn’t ordering a replacement from the Samsung website. However, I took my chances and to my surprise it worked better than the original! We didn’t have to program it or set anything up. My husband opened the box and immediately put it to use. The smile on his face was priceless and the best part of it all was that we got to keep the puppy! Thank you!!

Me encantó, mi TV es la Samsung series 7 y le funcionó de maravilla, ni siquiera hay que programarlo, desde que le coloque las baterías funcionó inmediatamente, como si fuese hecho para mi TV, pensé que tendría que programarlo como los de antes, hahaha tenía mucho que no compraba control remoto. Es muy parecido al que trajo originalmente mi TV (mis hijos lo destruyeron) la única diferencia es que no trae los botones de Netflix y prime, pero en realidad no es un problema porque puedo buscarlos manualmente. Le doy un 20/10, el precio está excelente y la calidad ni se diga, pesa igual que el original. No incluye las baterías.

Works okay but lacks some of the functionality of the original remote. The Samsung remote could communicate basic functions with my Sony Bluray player(play/pause/ff/rwd/stop) but this one can't. Seems slower to send commands to the TV as well.

This is my dogs favorite chew toy. Its dark slender design makes it fun to hide too.Seriously, this remote worked perfect for my Samsung Smart TV. There is a florescent rubber cover that you can purchase with it. Apparently, with the rubber cover my dog doesn't like it anymore and it's harder to hide (aka lose)
