I think they’re great. They’re light years better than the ones you’ll find at Hobby Lobby. They are very sturdy and they come with plenty of silicone sleeves for the clips which are much easier to work with than the rubber sleeves and they don’t deteriorate as fast. I really like these clips. The bases are great too. The stands fit into the bases very snugly so they don’t travel when they’re standing up.

Good product, great service

I bought this to hold small parts while I paint them. It was so useful that I bought 2 sets. Simple alligator clips attached to 6" metal stems that you hold in your hands or support them upright in the base. Base is riddled with holes so you can place them as close or far away as you need. The holes are not snug, however, and so the stems can flop around a bit (keep that in mind so that one painted item doesn't get knocked into another painted item). The stems are very rigid and don't bend--or at least I feared it would break if I tried to force it to bend. The set comes with rubber tips in case you don't want the alligator clip teeth to dig into the surface of the item you're painting. The clips sometimes come loose from the stem and so the clip flops a bit. This can make painting an item difficult. That's something the manufacturer can work to improve. Paint can accumulate fast on the clips, which can transfer bits of paint to your next project. So they need to be cleaned or at least scraped from time to time. If you don't clean them then dried paint can make the clips very hard to open again. Overall a very useful set.

For what I paid, it’s a good deal! I wish the board was a little bigger, it comes with rubber protectors for the metal portion of the clip but I found they didn’t hold to well so I removed them.

Package was delivered with no issues or damages. There is some assemble required in getting the rubber sleeves onto the clips, but that’s about as involved as that gets. The clip sticks actually click into their holes to remain rigid, otherwise they’re loose. The sticks feel very durable and the base doesn’t feel like it’s going to break from falling off a table. For the price that I paid for this, this was a great buy. The only thing the bugs me is that there’s not really any storage, outside of the packaging, for the extra sticks to be stored in. The clip stick feel easy to lose if you’re not paying attention.

A simple product that will get the Job done.

Does the job. Wires are sturdy and the pegs keep the clips stable and upright. Even after being hit with a few coats of paint the clips actuate pretty easily.

This thing is pretty neat. It comes with little rubber nubbers for the alligator clip teeth. I work with soft plastic and resin so it helps to not damage what I'm working on. It even comes with a few extra teeth covers for good measure. Evemodel is legit. Check out their replacement bases for Warhammer minis as well. Good stuff.

I was concerned the rubber covers on the alligator clips would make it difficult to hold smaller parts but they actually work well and can be removed if you need. The clips have a good amount of grip for their size. Overall I think it was good value and was very helpful when airbrushing small model parts.
