This is a large project, and not for someone just getting started. I finished just shy of three years, but it is absolutely beautiful!!

This is NOT what I would recommend as a beginners kit. And that is exactly what I like about it. It comes in a buttoned clear bag with an enormous amount of DMC threads and a spiraled pattern booklet. A number of kits use what they claim is DMC threads but then renumber the colors for their kit making it harder to buy additional threads if needed. This kit uses the actual DMC numbers for their respective colors.The image pattern is broken down into 18 letter-sized black and white pages making the pattern symbols easy to read. Some of the images are in color; the rationale, I think, is to accentuate different images within the symbols (i.e. structures and people). It also looks like you could detach the pages from the booklet and tape them together to make four quadrants. Each 10X10 grid is sequentially numbered to easily do this.Something of note accomplished stitchers might like: I sent several e-mails to the customer service rep for this company (Max Stitch) when I was trying to decide whether or not to buy this kit. The rep was extremely helpful answering the myriad of questions I had and ensured me if I did not like the kit for any reason, they would issue me a refund and work with me to ensure my satisfaction.I bought this kit when there were only 4 kits available on Amazon. If you're looking for a challenging kit with an image you would like to frame, this might be it - this is what I intend to do.

The size listed was 11 X 13 when I gridded my fabric it turned out to be 24 X18.5 on 14 count Aida cloth. There isn't much in way of instructions so this kit would not be for a beginner. There was a lot of floss which was labeled. All in all it's going to be a beautiful picture

Was in great condition. It's huge biggest cross stitch I've ever done. Haven't started it yet it's going to take a long time.

the only issue I have with kits in general, is that they skimp on the aida cloth, leaving very little to frame the piece easily. It's not like the cloth is super expensive either.I did what other reviewers have suggested, and bought a larger piece of aida cloth to work the kit on and will keep the one that it comes with for another smaller project.

Just received this kit in the mail last week. Love the quality of the materials and the easy to read directions. Excited to see how it will look when done.

Did not know this was a stamped product, did not say, and never gave a choice of counted or stamped. Received and was very confused.
