Ok so what could go wrong? If you have been buying hard drives for years and years, there's a long list of things. In this case (on 4 drives) none of them happened.1) The caddy is indeed genuine Dell and it snaps right into an R610 just like it should. No weird locking up part way in. No "disassemble the whole server" to take it out.2) The drive is indeed Dell firmware and the ones I got had the current release of that firmware.3) The drives all formatted up fine and have been running for > 30 days with no issues.4) They arrived packed in proper shock mount packing. Each drive was in an ESD proof envelope.None of that *should* be a surprise. It's what you expect. I can't even count how many times I've been let down getting hard drives.One caution:these listings get used by a lot of different vendors. What I got from one outfit may not be what you get. It's unfortunate that listing vendors in the review is against Amazon policy.
