Fanola No Yellow - No-Yellow Mask, 1000 ml, Extra Violet Pigment

I thought this in the advice from my hairdresser as my hair appeared quite orange. I must say I am very impressed with this mask which I apply after washing and conditioning my hair. It makes my hair look so much better with no orange tones. It’s something I shall be using all the time now.

I have had problems with hair loss and will therefore not use bleaching products whilst my hair is recovering. I have used non-bleaching dye and then used this to tone down the orangey parts. It is very effective. I have applied it neat onto dry hair and also after shampooing. The longer you leave it on, the more effect it has. Does not stain the scalp like other similar products. Other people have complained about be smell but u have found it to be quite pleasant.

Really good mask- good value for money, nice smell and comes in a strong bottle so it’s good it has the lid to help release.Good colour but follow directions as I ended up with a blue hue on TEAMS when I left it on too long. Hah.Remember this is a conditioning mask and don’t put on and the. Get busy doing other things.Definitely prevents or reduces yellowing.

What I found useful is that as it is so highly pigmented you can mix up some fanola in a separate shampoo bottle with some of your favorite shampoo

If you just want some slight color correcting, don't leave this in your hair for more than like 30 seconds or so, or mix with your usual conditioner. I put this on and washed my face, so it was in my hair for all of 2 minutes and it was too much. Turned my hair grayish. Thankfully my shampoo (Shea Moisture) washed it out fairly well after about 3-4 times and got it to about where I wanted it. Conditions well too, but nothing amazing compared to what I usually use.
