Laffy TaffyStretchy & Tangy Variety Candy Box, Grape, Watermelon, and Cherry Flavors, 1.5 Ounce Bars (Pack of 24)

It's hard to find the full size taffy like this from when we were kids. My brother had these in October for trick or treaters and I asked where he'd got them.. here on Amazon of course, so I picked a pack up a month ago. My 74 year old Dad also loves these, so they didn't last long. They were fresh, stretchy and delicious. I just ordered pack 2. Thank goodness they sell this assorted pack without the banana, I despise anything banana flavored. I love all the flavors in this pack, my favorites are the grape and watermelon, but all 3 flavors were perfect.

Flavor/Freshness:Amazing. This is of course not the same as when they originally came out, but it does have the same sparkles as when they did that big re-release thing, the sugar kind, not the pop-rock like ones from when they first came out. They are still delicious and the ones I got are still good until June-23.But ofcourse I cant eat all these right now and I put them right in the freezer to keep them fresh~Packaging:Basic low cardboard shown in the picture but also wrapped in the very thin plastic, honestly wouldn't have minded if it was only the box around them cause the treats themselves already waste enough plastic.It was packed in the paper shipping which I seriously appreciate, I hate the plastic shipping bags. But anyway, they where a little squished from transit but the box was still in one piece when it got to me and all the candies where still in it. So no issue.___I was a little worried about ordering from how bad other reviewers made the product sound, but it is exactly what I expected it to be based on the listing. Nothing now is going to taste EXACTLY like it did in the 90's and 00's because a lot of regulations and safety measures but these tasted enough like the original and the little taffies you can get now that I am really enjoying them. I am going to be ordering again.

It’s everything the label claims: It’s stretchy and tangy taffy candy. It’s been a favorite for decades. It’s flavorful and has retained its quality over many years even as the name slightly changed. The only quibble I have is with all the speckles and glittery bits in some of the flavors. Yes, it’s appealing visually to kids, but it’s completely useless from a flavor standpoint and disrupts the smooth texture that is a big draw for taffy fans. Fortunately, my two favorite flavors, the grape and cherry, remain unadulterated. Keep on keepin’ on and don’t monkey around any more with success.

I love watermelon Laffy taffy. I'm sad that it's not more available. I bought this box for my baby's first birthday party favors.. a lot of people thought they didn't taste good. Almost a chemical taste to start off.. my son and I ate most of them. They tasted fresh to me.. good texture, not hard at all. Maybe this flavor is just an acquired taste. I think it was less than a dollar per bar so that's bulk purchasing-- better than buying individually at a store.

These sadly taste off. Almost rancid, despite not being expired. They are not the right taste for laffy taffy. They do not have the sparkle sprinkles like in some reviews. Save yourself the disgust and buy elsewhere.
