The media could not be loaded. Below is my review for the product as it was received.Box was very obviously damaged in transit. Box was smashed and camera was loose in box. Figured I'd try it out anyway, but I've got really mixed thoughts.Pro:1. Hardware - This camera is the perfect size for a windshield mount. It is very small and very light. The buttons are placed in easy to access places. Mounting solution is extremely sturdy.2. Audio - The audio is fantastic. Speaking at normal volume, the mic was able to pick up everything said in the vehicle. I wish I had kept the video with the recorded audio, but it really is great. I also have another dash cam that costs twice as much that has terrible audio in comparison.3. Firmware - I could easily navigate the menu system without having to read a manual. The interface is very intuitive.4. 1080p FHD - It does record at a decent resolution, but quality depends on the speed of the MicroSD card and quality of light. I had much better results recording at 720p. The viewing angle is also great and I was able to see vehicles to the side and all across intersections.5. Auto-On/Off - This is the best. Automatically begins recording when your car is turned on and shuts off when your car is turned off.6. Image stabilization - At this price range, I'm shocked this exists. It actually does a fantastic job of keeping the image stable.Con:1. Battery - does not keep charge for long. You'll definitely need to use the car adapter.2. Low Light - Video in low-light or night is not crisp or clear, even after adjusting exposure.3. File Naming - There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the way files are named. 00000001.AVI, 00050002.AVI, 00000005.AVI, Then in a different folder was 00050004.AVI...No clue.Mixed:1. Still images - Not terrible, but not great. It is nice to have this feature just in case.2. Micro SD - Camera accepts MicroSD Class 4 or better. I tried it with 32GB up to 200GB and it functioned perfectly. File system needs to be FAT32. The camera can format the SD card in the camera. What makes the MicroSD a mixed bag....Well...The first time I stuck a card in, it ended up inside the camera instead of in the MicroSD slot. I had to open the device to get my card out...it was just chilling in the middle. Have to be very careful when placing card...make sure you're actually pushing it into the slot.Final Thoughts:For the price, this is a really good dash camera. It certainly beats the tar out of a few others I have tried. I wish the battery worked a bit longer (when it dies, all your settings vanish), but it should be fine as long as you keep it charged. Video is really good in the daytime. I'm happy with the quality. I also LOVE the audio is so clear. This company has some great microphones. The suction cup mechanism is also wonderful. It kept the camera in place and has a ball joint with excellent mobility. This is definitely going to be a permanent fixture in my wife's car.

I like this dash cam. For the price it can’t be beat.PROS: Small size allows it to be easily placed behind the rear view mirror so it’s out of the way. Video is clear. Easy to access the MicroSD card slot to add/remove card. Very reasonable price for a 1080p camera.CONS: Minimal instructions included with the camera, with no clear directions for navigating the menu’s or what each setting actually does. That said... play around with it for a bit and you can figure it out. It’s similar to programming any other camera or TV. Also, there is no true “night vision”. The camera does a decent job picking up and amplifying headlights and ambient light, but the clarity at night will suffer. This isn’t a major issue, but it is something to be aware of.

So I purchased 2 of these because it has all the functions I have been looking for. Unfortunatly the one function I wanted the most does not work. The loop function. It is suppsed to loop over and over the old videos but after a day the card is full. I delete and then the card is full again. I keep having to delete to make room. Apparently when it asks if you want to delete all files, which I select yes, it only deletes the one showing. Which means now I have to go to each video and delete them one by one. NOT happy about that and now the money is gone. Piece of crap in my opinion. I contacted the manufacture and I never received an answer.DON'T waste your money on this.

Bought this item back in November 2018. Started out being a good camera. Had problems connecting up in car because the cord was too short and could not plug it in the power outlet. I set the camera aside and recently retrieved it since I have a power pack that the camera can connect to and stay charged while in use. Now the camera does not hold a charge and will not stay on even when plugged in.

This is pretty much a plug and play camera, although there are several options with recording that you can explore after reading the instructions. I used the USB plug to power the camera from my computer and got comfortable with the recording options and playback. It can be powered in your car by either the included cigarette lighter plug or your own mini USB to USB cord. This camera takes good video that remains pretty steady even when recording fast vehicles going past you through an intersection. As a side note, it may even make me a little bit better driver because I know that I am being recorded!

This is a good little camera. Picture quality is good and it's compact enough that it isn't a distraction. Screen goes to sleep while recording, but a flashing blue led shows it is still recording. Files are only readable by connecting the camera directly to a computer thru usb. Not readable by just removing the micro usb and connecting it to a pc. Night recording is poor, unless you are driving in a well lighted area. But at this price range, it's acceptable for me since day recording is great.One thing I didn't like was that it does NOT loop record. I checked all settings and even reset it, but it still doesn't loop and overide old files. I have to reformat the microSD once a week, otherwise it stops recording. So if it gets full while the screen is off, I won't know it is full. This is a big negative because if I where to get in an accident during the moment the SD card is full, then I'b be out of luck, thus the 3 stars. But I personally don't mind taking a few seconds to reformat once a week.

Very great camera, and easy to use it really comes in hand!! A guy turned in front of me when I had the green light and I hit him. He told the officer that it was my fault little did he know I had it all on the Dash Cam. Showed it to the officer on scene and the officer was able to conduct the traffic investigation off my video right there on scene, and then he thanked me for the dash cam video and thought it was a great tool to have for this reason. Thank you for the Dash Cam!
