These are not overpowering and do not make your whole house smell like vanilla.They do work!They do remove the smell!They are fool proof!All you need to do is remember to drop them in your boots after work and they will do the rest!So far my boots don't have that repulsive smell coming out of them and all is well.I highly recommend these!

Very strong scent. Gave me a headache, but on the plus side, my shoes aren't smelling up my gym bag lol

These have been working well! I bought them for my boyfriends work boots which would start stinking up the room the moment he took them off, but since we put the odor fighters inside them we don't notice the smell at all. We have only been using them for about a week so I can't say how long they will last but so far, so good.
