I got my first version of this band a few years ago and loved it. Eventually, I managed to drop my watch on the stone floor and shattered a link. I didn’t save the extras - word to the wise: save your extra links! Enter the new band. I watched a YouTube from a channel called CurtKey called Ceramic Watch Link Removal (after countless others that didn’t help me!) and was able to get the links off. Even having done it a few years ago, it was still highly aggravating and I managed to shoot a pin across the room and lose it. But in my mind, cursing at this for 30mins was a time saver vs paying $10 at the jeweler (I’m sure I’m incorrect, but I’m stubborn). Anyhow, I’m thrilled to have my classy band back (it matches my mother’s real Chanel ceramic band watches - she also got this band for when she deigns to wear her Apple Watch instead) and, this time, I saved the extra links and pins. And the YouTube link.

This ceramic band replaced a ceramic band I broke during a fall. The links didn't break just the little springbars let go in 2 places. Probable could be repaired with a steady hand. Anyway the new band is black ceramic which matches the space grey (black) Apple watch. The thing to consider is that the black ceramic does not show scratches and the links are very sturdy. Links can be adjusted with a steady hand and patience, do it with the watch not attached and the band laying flat and pressed down with your hand on a table. When you receive the band it’s covered with plastic wrap to protect it from scratches, it may look like the links are plastic, no they are solid ceramic, remove the plastic. There are no extra spring bars that connect the links,, be very careful when adjusting the band for your wrist they are very easy to loose.

Do not follow the picture. Do not follow instructions from other watches. You do not use the tool to push the pin out on the other side and then pull. The pins are short and balance in the middle of the link. You have to push the pin as far in as it will go and then wiggle the band until it separates on one side. Then tilt to that side and shake/ pull out pin. And putting it back takes even more work of balancing, pushing, and synchronized pushing pin down and snapping together. Next to impossible and took over two hours, lost pins, a broken link, and a snapped tool tip. They should’ve sent instructions, extra links, and extra pins for all that was lost. Luckily I removed enough links to have the supplies to put back together. The band is gorgeous and feels fantastic but I don’t think it’s worth the hassle. It was a lot of hassle. Instructions and a warning would’ve been nice.

Completely gorgeous! I got the white for my series 5 40mm rose gold watch. The ends of the band that slide in are silver toned but it really is not noticeable and the band itself is so quality I don’t even care. I like a heavier watch bracelet, so the weight is great and no exposed clasp is another high point. My husband said it definitely sets the watch off and is the type of thing you’d expect to come with the watch for what you pay. Addressing the issues with sizing difficulty: The enclosed tool is great. If you have taken links out of a watch before you will have no issues. If you haven’t, watch a quick you tube vid first so you know what to expect. **for each link there is an internal hollow cylinder pin that the longer solid pin fits through** If you don’t have that hollow pin in place for the long pin, I can see where some might have experienced slippage if this wasn’t placed properly. Update: Still great! Have added photos 5 months later. Update to the update: 2024 it died tonight. Round 2 of the eastern conference NBA finals did it in. I will say it went down in a round of hardcore applause that drove the Pacers to a win.

The first thing I want to point out is that this is a nice looking well made watch band. My problem was in the fact that no instructions were included with the tools to size the band. Fortunately I have done this before and I actually used tools from another watch band provider because they were better. However another problem did evolve. The link pins were difficult to remove and required a pair of pliers to pull them out after starting the push out. After removing the necessary links I noticed the link pins would not stay In place when reinstalling them. Upon careful inspection I noticed the pins came apart and it was important to put the thinner pin inside the other hollow one. This wasn’t easy with these tiny parts. The lack of instructions made this task even more difficult. If you’ve never done this before you may find sizing your watch band very frustrating. Therefore the four stars instead of five for this otherwise nice watch band.

Love this band! Contrary to the comments, I found this band relatively easy to adjust the links. It has a nice weight to it and looks very luxe. This watch band sizing of where the band connects to the watch face is perfect, unlike some others that don’t quite fit so nicely.

The strap is of very good quality, and looks much more expensive than it is. Took some effort to adjust to my wrist, but fits perfectly. And looks amazing! Highly recommend it !
