DC Deck Building Game: Rebirth - Multiple Campaign Scenarious with Unique Gameplay and Cards - Features Iconic DC Universe Location - Compatible with Other DC Deck-Building Game Series

This game is wonderful. It's a cooperative deckbuilding game up to 4 players. I would not recommend it for anyone under 10 unless they are big fans of games and have patience to learn. Once you learn the game though it's easy to maintain. There are two things that give this game great repeatability. First, while you only play up to 4 players there are 8 characters to choose from so each time you use a new character it gives you different options. Second, and by far the biggest, is that there are 8 "scenarios" to play through. The first time you play the game is scenario "one." Then once we knew what we were doing we played the first scenario a second time. After winning, you can move to scenario "2." This makes small modifications to the game to change it up a bit. It also encorporates a very basic sense of story so it's like you're playing different issues of a comic book.In short, i'd highly recommend this game for a group of up to 4 people looking for a great cooperative board game.

Me and my friends found this easy to understand how to play and very enjoyable with just one of the base sets or even when we started integrating the expansion packs! Very versatile and has a lot of freedom in being able to custom the game you want with your favorite cards.Simple base system for beginners and with each expansion pack it adds a new optional gameplay mode! You can play the same way or you can change game modes, you can do versus with friends, or fight against the campaign, or team up with friends against other friends or co-op in the campaign story. There's so much to enjoy here, and the best part is that you could just buy any of the base sets and still just enjoy that without needing to get any other expansions.Will be playing this with my groups of friends for many years to come. Looking forward to the new Dark Nights: Metal expansion coming this year (2020) too! Also shows there's a lot of support from the creators and fans along the years. Hope they keep adding more expansions and base sets etc.!

I have had such a great time with this game, I almost can't go back to the Marvel or previous DC's deck building decks. I love how movement of the characters adds another level to the normal deck building games. I've played this game with avid Marvel fans who've only played the Upper Deck Marvel games, and they too have enjoyed the character movements. I love how there are 8 different events that you build upon another, which can be played solo, or up to 4 people. I look forward to further expansion packs with additional crisis/events.

Per Matt Hydra at Cryptozoic R&D (on a boardgamegeek.com post) this box does not include a promo card, despite several companies including that statement about first printings coming with one.Other than that, it's a fun variant of the other DC DBG releases. If you like those, and enjoy co-op games, give it a try.

We LOVE this game! We were already familiar and fans of the deck builder games. This edition created a fresh and super fun version by making is collaborative. We love games where we can work together. We have played through it multiple times and continues to be exciting and fun!

This is the thing that is keeping my occupied while social distancing. I love it.
