So what I do is I pick out a spot I want to spend some time fishing. Then I got to that spot several times, maybe 3-4 days, and I throw out 5-6 balls of these chum. After several days of doing this I not only see more bait fish in the area, but I am hooking into catfish at a much quicker rate. There is a lot of debate out there if chumming in fresh water actually does anything but in my first hand experience it certainly does.The chum comes in 2 bags, a liquid and dry mix. You simply add the dry mix into the bag with the liquid and much mush it all around the inside of the bag with your hands. Everything is contained so there is no mess. This makes for some of the easiest to use chum I have ever used. Just reach into the mixed bag, mush up a handful of the chum into a ball and then toss into the water. I haven't tried this particular thing yet, but I see no reason why you couldn't mush it around a hook like you do with some carp baits.There is enough in this package for me to chum and area for 3-4 days.

Liquid portion of mix leaked out inside of bag. Product would not stay in ball and fell off of hook every time. Wouldn't waste your money on this.
