Strong Adhesion and Great Quality — Keeps the Rug Firmly in Place ✨️✅️
We had a big problem with our rug because the corners kept lifting, and several of us had already tripped over them. This tape completely solved the issue. Once applied, the rug stays firmly in place and doesn’t move at all. The adhesion is excellent, and the quality of the material is noticeable right away. It’s very easy to use—just cut the amount you need and apply it. The tape performs exactly as expected and provides a secure, long-lasting solution. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the adhesive strength, durability, and overall performance of this product.

Works, Very Strong, hard to remove.
**To save anyone reading this some time, this review is about how to get this off a carpet mostly... Great Sticky Product though! With that out of the way... I got a new rug for the living room to go on top of the existing carpeted floor but the rug kept "sliding forward" towards the entertainment center even though the side furthest away from the entertainment center is underneath the legs of the sofa/recliner where I sit. It seems to creep forward due to sitting/standing-up in the sofa and the reclining motion. After the 3rd day the rug is bunching up against the entertainment center. After moving it back its bunched up again after day 3. I looked up "double sided tape to hold carpet to carpet" on Amazon and I made the mistake and only briefly glanced at reviews and the ones I read said something about "it holds carpet to carpet, works great, and is easy to come off, no residue". I missed the ones about its very, very hard to remove. After peeling back the paper and putting it on the carpet I realized this would NOT be easy to come off. I re-read the Amazon reviews, and well, hindsight is 20/20..... If this stayed on the carpet with weight on top over time I think this stuff might only be able to be cut off with a razor taking a lot of carpet fiber with it. I decided to remove it and looked online for the best method and I found some people used oil/grease remover with a brush with very mixed results. Some tried using a clothes steamer again with mixed results. I did find one guy using brown packing paper laid on top of the tape (sans rug on top) and using a iron for ironing clothes on very low heat to press on top of the paper, but to keep moving back and forth, not leaving it in one space for long (kind of like ironing clothes) and peeling back the brown paper and the sticky residue comes off the carpet and sticks on the brown paper. I did this and it worked exactly like the video. I kept moving the iron back and forth holding the brown paper with one hand slowly lifting and all of it came off (took about 8-10 minutes for a 12 foot strip), EXCEPT for an invisible super thin layer of stickiness. I have not removed that but instead laid the rug on top where it was originally going to go and hopefully this residue will hold it. When that rug is removed some adhesive will still be on the carpet which anything walking/rolling on top will over time leave a track. IMO the remaining adhesive will only come off using some type of adhesive remover or paint/oil/gas remover type product.

Works on backless rugs!
Update as of 8/2/25: I've just raniut of my 3rd roll and I'm ordering another. I will say if you can get a pair of non-stick scissors, or use an agent that will discourage sticking like powder, lite lube, or even oil, it will be easier to cut or even use razors to cut it. It would be nice if this tape were perforated for easy tearing, while still allowing for customization of the tape piece itself. And I recently did have an issue with trying to reposition the tape this time, as it started pulling up a vinyl tile piece. But it can be easily removed with oil or soap and water. I purchased and received as gifts loose rugs with no thick or rubber backing, with silicone beading on one set. However, when I would go to try to vacuum either, even with the hose--it was tiresome and flung dust and debris in the air. I tried on tape and though it worked on my Dollar Tree pet mats (the small, rubber bottomed ones with sayings on them), it did nothing for the backless ones. I have a Shark vac, and if you own one you know the suction power it has. With my back issues, I was determined to find a carpet tape that held on for dear life lol. THIS ONE IS IT!! I just bought a 2nd roll, and have been letting all know who have issue with their carpets moving to try this one out! St about 1-11/2I in. wide, t is a thin, durable carpet tape that does come off the floor with minor force (i have vinyl floors) and the rugs with ease. I can say the other pulled up the tile lol, but that's no fault of that tape. As someone who was able to INSTANTLY vacuum our the throw carpets with ease (I could sense my vacuums defeat lol), and now don't have to hand vac them, or shake the off to attempt to get all of the diet out of rug (no vac is perfect, but it's much cheaper easier to clean when you can enjoy the process, and not dread it!) Awesome tape, and highly recommened!! Note: It says to use a knife to cut the tape, but I found that my scissors worked just fine, and even stuck less and was easier to cut the tape with. Just have a dedicated use for them, like office, or workshop. Though the adhesive does remove fairly easy with soap, to be save I wouldn't use any scissors that come into contact w/food ;)

Works Great But Be Careful When Cutting!
This rug tape definitely does the job. My carpets haven’t budged since I started using it. It’s super sticky and keeps everything in place really well on hardwood floors. However, it’s not the easiest to work with. Cutting it is a bit of a struggle—I had to use a razor blade to get clean pieces, and even then, I’ve accidentally sliced my fingers a couple of times. Scissors just turned it into a sticky mess, so I don’t recommend that. Once you get the right size pieces cut and placed, though, it works like a charm. Just handle with care and take your time during setup!

Strong bond
Works great very very sticky! The product is beyond my expectation. What I did do was used a little more than instructed. I have hardwood floors and i used it on a 5 x 7 rug. I also have two dogs that like to play, I had used an unknown brand tape. It did not hold the rug in place. But this particular brand worked well with the area rug. It has not moved anywhere. A Note to reminder: it's a double-sided tape it's pretty a strong bond of course after you have flattened your rug with the tape, it's good to go over where the tape is smooth it out and press down for extra hold.
