I never use the brush on the car body, only a soft, fringed car washing cloth in which you can insert your hand like a loose glove. I also put a plastic screen at the bottom of the soap bucket so that I don't pick up dirt particles with the wash glove when dipping into the bucket to get more suds.

Will they scratch rims? I know it says no but it's hard to believe. They aren't that soft.

I do not use them on rims. I use them mainly on the AC vents and other interior detailing. But if I did use them on rims, I believe they would not scratch them.

Are these good for cleaning leather interior?

I assume that are not good for leather interior, i use it to clean wheels, in my opinion are too hard for leather.

Does anyone find these good for house cleaning?

I have used them to clean the grout between tiles with great success. They are the right size for that task.
