I have to wonder. NO pre-sale inspection of any kind would allow something like this out on a sales floor. This is such low quality and materials, it is something I would expect to see as some kind of a "leader item" stacked up in one of those types of stores that sell nothing over $1.00. Come on Amazon! I was anxiously looking for this to arrive and when it did, and I opened it I could see right away there was bound to be trouble ahead. And that didn't take long. The materials in this are very low quality. Metal and plastic alike. one pre- drilled hardware hole did not even line up. But the junction point point where the goose neck go's into the smaller tube is the real issue and a "built in" weak point. I got this all boxed up for return and went back to Amazon pages to look at others for a possible replacement, because I still need something like this. One big problem is many of these similar products look the same in the same area. Can not tell if material quality bay be better with another same type item. best advice........buyer beware.

Great to hold my hair dryer until I recover from shoulder surgery. I didn’t rate the drying power as that would depend on the hair dryer you supply. This holder is lightweight enough for me to move it with one hand, yet heavy enough I don’t have to worry about bumping it and having it fall over. The weighted base included is a necessity!
