Took some finagling
This was purchased for my 29 gallon crabitat.I received a product that appears to have been returned. There were finger prints all over the glass. However, I understand why: It is challenging to assemble, did not initially fit squarely onto inner rim, and it required fine tuning. The plastic pieces that join the two halves of the glass down the middle were too long by about 1/16", so I used a rough emory board to file them down.To assemble the glass into the tracks of the joining piece, you MUST lubricate the inside of each track.I dipped Qtips in vegetable oil and ran it along BOTH sides of the track (after pulling the front piece of glass out). This allowed me to slide each section of glass in from the end of the track, snugging it in as I went along. The back, flexible piece did not require lubricating.I then dry-fit the assembled top, making adjustments to the position of the glass and track, and marking where to add cut-outs for my air hose and thermometer probe wire.I cut the back plastic piece with a box cutter blade (not the neatest look, but that's all I had). It would be great if you had something to melt a clean hole instead. When I was done adjusting, I cleaned both sides of the lid with vinegar to remove oil and fingerprints, and dried it well.I attached the two handles, one at each end of the front section of glass. The 3M adhesive tape stuck firmly and I was able to use it immediately. The back plastic piece (where hoses would run through) will not sit down onto the lip of the aquarium trim. I don't see why that is, as there was nothing preventing it from doing so.So, I placed heavy books on the back piece so crabs cannot escape, and hope the piece will eventually settle in.Overall, it's not a bad purchase if you understand that some work is required ahead of time.

Good Fit
I did have to request a replacement because the first one arrived completely shattered. They packaged it very carefully the second time. Anyway beyond that, good lid. It didn't come with the little attachment to be able to lift it, but that's not a big deal. It fit my 20 gallon long perfectly with enough gap on the front for me to feed, but not enough for my betta to jump! Also doesn't affect the lighting from my plant light.

Great lid for aquarium
This fit my fish tank perfectly. Obviously you have to cut it to allow room for your filter etc but I had no problems putting it together or cutting it

Meh
Received today, shipping was fast. *Both* adhesive handles are broken as indicated by previous reviewers. The lid is about 1/2" too long to properly fit inside the black trim of the TopFin 29gal tall tank. I am planning on cutting the pieces to the correct length to make it work instead of bothering with returning it. Overall, an annoying purchase.

Good glass lid for aquarium
This is a good product. Our aquarium is exactly 30" by 12" (not sure which manufacturer, I won't be surprised if it was a terrarium before it became aquarium, we got it from our neighbors). The build- in LEDs in our previous plastic hood burned, so we looked for a replacement of the hood and the lights. We found this glass one for about $31 here on Amazon. I knew that this aquarium hood is smaller by about 1inch than the width of our aquarium (see my photo with a ruler/ measuring tape), so we also bought clips to hold this hood (clips can also be seen in the photos). Clips I had to buy separately. There are many of those plastic clips around, for example NestBasics, https://a.co/d/9OrHVGF fitted our rim in the aquarium, $10 per 6 clips was my price). It worked well! The plastic part of this lid (see my photo) can be cut out to accommodate automatic feeder and the filter. We got the LED lights separately for about $10 for two pieces including a plug (For example, LED Grow Light Strips for Indoor Plants Full Spectrum 3500K, 96 LEDs Plant Light Bar with 3/9/12H Timer, Dimmable,13 Inches, 2 Head https://a.co/d/3bToLbj ) To have the lights OVER the glass lid is literally a life saver, I always worried that when the lights are on the INNER side of the aquarium lid, the wires become corroded and there was a danger of electric shock both to the fish and their owners. I also like that the lights over the aquarium glass lid can be moved and we can stick them (with some tape) anywhere we want, so we can create more light over our plants, while leaving shady places for our shy red-eyed Tetras who tend to avoid light (I tried to capture this Light-and-Shadow effect on one of the attached photos). This light is dimmable so we can adjust the intensity enough for the plants but without blinding our gentle aquatic creatures. So this glass lid allowed us to update our lights and make the aquarium safer by isolating the lights from the water completely!
