This is a great book for adults & kids alike! The size of the book is a little bigger than a 5x7 photo. It has a nice thickness & quality about it. The cover is thicker & doesn't look like it would be damaged easily being bounced around in a book bag. The pages are a thicker quality, and glossy. The photos are amazing quality in the book. We got this book for my daughter's 8th birthday who loved the Smithsonian Nature Guide to Birds, so this is the equivalent for snakes & amphibians. Even though there are large words (genus, class, species etc) in the book, she is able to ask for help on them easily or skip over that section & read the other "blurbs" on the page about the animal. She mostly loves using the index section where she can think of a name of a snake & then find it & search for the page. It is broken out in sections keeping like animals together. There are main pages to each section explaining the differences of say amphibians before reading about the specific frogs themselves. This is a great book that you can read together or they can read independently. Honestly my husband & I end up flipping thru it many times after she goes to bed!

By far the best reptile book I’ve bought in a long time great pictures and great facts about each animal. Really good book for anyone of animal background or interest!

No complaints from me about the books contents, but my book came in pretty bad shape, almost falling out of its binding and pretty beat up. I ordered mine used but didn’t expect it to look so bad. It was also an old library book by the looks of it. I honestly would have paid double for a new one if I knew it was such bad shape. But anyways, the books contents are great and very informative. Great pictures.

Cheap and a nice addition to my reptile book collection! I was able to learn much from this little book. It’s available and it teachers you new facts all about reptiles very easily! Great!

arrived on time. Very informative. Bought it for my 8yr old boy, he loves it. He sometimes leaves it in the bathroom. I have to admit, i pick it up as reading material spending time in there.

Arrived quickly. My 14 year old daughter loves snakes. She originally saw this at another store for a lot more money so I ordered it on here. It’s a good quality book.
