Where do I even begin?I'm trying to save money and I searched for one time purchase microsoft office 2021 and boy, was I mistaken. Apparently, I clicked on the wrong one --which is my bad but what is frustrating is that I bought the one that is subscription not a one time purchase.I plan on having to budget part of my paycheck because while it's only for a year--I do not want to be charged $139.99 a year just to barely use it. I have a few uses for it and I'm extremely annoyed by this development. My hope is that amazon and microsoft get what is coming to them -- monopolies breaking up. Seriously, the argument of "well if I'm the only one, I'll make the best product." is absolute BS and you know it.Buy Office 2021 -- its $231.49 but it's better to spend that then what microsoft is trying to squeeze out of you. If they need more money, they can redistribute their top executives to cover the cost if they are hurting for money.

I like that it is a Microsoft 365 Business Standard subscription that includes Microsoft Teams and a web page address. Might not use the web page right away, but it is nice to have when ready to do so.

I have purchased this product several times from Amazon. This time, for reasons that neither Amazon nor Microsoft can explain, the code only partially worked. It is a 1 year (365 day) subscription. When I applied the code I got 187 days, not 365 days.I called Microsoft and spent a long time working with them, and they could not see why it did not apply the full 365 days. They were able to confirm I did purchase a 365 day code. They said I had to contact Amazon as they were the 3rd party that sold it and ask them to resolve or refund.Amazon said they sold the code, and the sale was their only responsibility. The fact that it didn't provide 365 days was immaterial. They very politely told me they would do nothing and it was my tough luck. They had zero interest in helping me.I went back to Microsoft, who to their credit was interested in making it right, and provided a way to extend it to the full year as they had seen evidence that I had purchased it. I am very happy with the M365 product, Microsoft's support, but the 1 star rating is for Amazon refusal to support a defective product they sold and the fact that they did not care they were ripping me off.

I wrote a bad review. I was eventually able to load apps.FWIW follow prompts on welcome email. Went smooth thereafter. The directions on Amazon are wrong.

I purchased the Business Standard Version from Amazon to save some money, but now am stuck with a useless product. I can not get the software linked to my account, and getting support from Microsoft is impossible. I called their number and its auto attendant tells me to go to a web page for support with business products...but that does not help. The support site tells me to see my site admin. This is the first Office product purchased for my company, so there is nothing set up yet.. I tried a chat with a home user support rep and they can't help with a business license. Totally insane that I can't get any help with this. Everything I do on the Microsoft site prompts me to buy the license form them. So I may have to buy it again so I can use Word. Just crazy that it's this hard to get help

I had issues installing and registering my domain. So… After spending 2 hours with Microsoft support they pushed me to the Microsoft business support line. I explained the situation and told me that since it was bought on Amazon and not Microsoft direct (their website), they did not provide customer service. If you’re confused, and I was too.., all Microsoft products on Amazon are sold through a 3rd party. Hence Microsoft is not liable to provide support for the product/service since it is not them selling it. Is it worth saving $20 probably not.1 star. Literal no customer service. I told them basically every 10 minutes through out the call I bought it here and it was never mentioned until I got to the business support line. Amazon doesn’t issue refunds, which I understand… still shady business practices on both of them.

I wish I would’ve read the reviews and done more research before purchasing.Not only is this a ripoff because of the PRICE, it only works on ONE computer while if you purchase on the Actual Microsoft website, it work on multiple.-Overcharged! On the Microsoft website it is much cheaper!-Only one device unlike the Microsoft website which for business AND personal allows up to 5 devices. If your computer dies on you that’s it, the “key” they provided for you was only for that device.-DO NOT PURCHASE HERE, purchase on the official Microsoft website!
