Sealed Unit Parts URCO210 Sealed Unit Parts Relay Capacitor overload

Our Whirlpool refridgerator was having a hard time kicking on the compressor after a power outage. A new compressor start relay did not help. The Supco solid state relay capacitor fixed the problem.

Replaced my burned out starter relay on my Igloo 5.1 cu/ft deep freezer. I decided to go with the Supco 3-in-1 unit versus replacing the factory original. From what I can tell, the Supco unit appears to be a better quality than the factory ceramic starter relay that came with the freezer and failed after 3 years. Wiring was easy and I had the freezer back and running in no time. Fingers crossed the new unit will outlive the rest of the components!

It is amazing how this relatively inexpensive, and easy-to-install part, can get your refrigerator working again. The URC0210 is rated (according to SUPCO's website) for use in units with 1/3 HP to 1/2 HP compressors. About three weeks ago I put this on a 1/3 HP unit in a commercial soda cooler. It worked as it should, and the cooler has been running properly since. My cooler did not have a good spot to place this, so I used zip-ties to attach it to the frame, and that seemed to work well.

A decent fridge that would have been tossed is back doing it's job for under 15 bucks!
